Supreme line up of hockey bags

Recommended Posts

hey guys do a search on supreme one90 bags and you will see what i mean..

i was thinking of buying a wheeled bag for ice and started looking at my options.. quite liked the shock doctor and the easton S9 bag, decided to see what nike bauer would come up with since the rest of this year's line up looks absolutely stunning.. oh my was i disappointed or what..

come on man, if you're going to make a thread like this at least add a link(not trying to be a mod but come on).

one90 wheeled bag

Might I ask what you expected? Maybe a heat moldable liner? :P

I dont like that either, as far as i can see it isn't innovative like the one90 skate, and they could have at least made the colours consistant through the bag it looks kinda patch-worky

Really curious on this one...if you are too lazy to CARRY your bag, how can you play hockey? If you are a goalie and want to cram all your stuff in one bag, then maybe I can see this...but it kills me to see 10 year old kids wheeling their gear into the rink. Damn, pick it up! These are probably the same kids that still have mommy tie their skates for them.

I guess I am one of those "a bag is a bag" type of guys (as long as it isn't PINK)

I walk about 6 Km every saturday morning to go play hockey at University and thank god I have wheels. I pick up the bag once I arrived to the rink but still, the wheel bags have a true value to some users like myself.

Some would argue you should conserve your energy for when you get on the ice... Not me though. I say they are pansies =)

Unless they're doing the trek like GH ID or travel players who have to lug their gear to airports and from rink to rink.

it always kills me how people are picky about bags. i mean come on, color and stuff who cares. If the gear fits and the bag isn't broken then who really cares?

Actually... just to throw this in the mix. A heavy hockey bag carried on one side can throw out their neck/shoulders. Kids just don't have the mature physical architecture to handle this sort of a load; and really SHOULD be using a wheelie bag until at least about 16 yrs. (they actually shouldn't be lugging the school backpacks that they use either - but at least that weight is evenly distributed). Wheelies are great for the parking lot - but way heavier on the stairs.

Re the one90 bag... it is great to see manufacturers put the skate pockets on either end of the bag; it should really help with balance and weight distribution. I don't know what genius started putting them on the side but it never worked.

I still see guys 16-18 wheeling bags in.

Who cares what the bag looks like? Hockey isnt a fashion statement.....well maybe for Vapor it is.

Keat, did anyone ever tell you that you have a striking resemblance to Shaun White?

rofl thockey17 u'd be the first i suppose..

and sorry abt not putting a link to the bag was kinda lazy XD

and as for ppl using wheeled bags.. i have to walk a fair bit to get from my house to the main road and its rather tiring carrying a huge bag on one side all the way out to the main road.. its not even possible to take a bus with the bag as its too big.. now a wheeled bag would bring a lot of convenience esp in public transportation as it can be propped upright.. and when i travel with my hockey gear it would be fuken convenient to have a wheeled bag around!

now abt how bags aren't a fashion statement bit and that i shouldn't be bothered how the one90 looks.. well for all u manly peeps out there.. would you pay 70 bucks for a bag that looks like crap? and considering what bauer has done with their supreme product line, we would really expect them to pull up the same stops on their bag no?

as long as the bag is max 50$cnd it all good. I found that the best deal was the canadian bag with wheel. Well when i go to pick-up and walk 2km I don't have any problem using my wheel.

It's a bag.

No doubt an overpriced bag, but a bag nonetheless... maybe you were expecting "Lightspeed 2 Power" wheels??? :P

THey need to bring back the Vapor 10. Best. bag. ever..

Definitely. I was so pissed when they stopped making them. I had a chance to get one for cheap, passed it, and still regret it. A close second to those are the Itech pro team bags. They have just the one big compartment with internal skate pockets. Nice.

My team bag I have is probably the best I've had. I've had two (for different teams) and have been very pleased with them. They're from Sherwood, but I don't know what model, and it wasn't a wheelie-bag.
