Blades with long/no rocker?

Recommended Posts

Any recommendations on blades with a long rocker or no rocker, lie 5 or 6, mid curve? I'm not gonna buy Black Beauty blades, had tough time with them.

Or would I have to go custom?

I don't know if you can buy them as blades, but my wood koho sticks with the Jagr curve sound's like what you would be looking for.

Very long blade, not much of a rocker to talk of.

Ok, jagr blade being made per hockeymonkey, but not available there.

But at least they are out there somewhere

RBK Datsyuk, mid-curve that is just tad open with a pretty gentle rocker, around a lie 6 (i think).

correct.

Iginla = recchi.

the only difference is that the lie is slightly different and the recchi blade is longer.

As this thread approaches almost three years old, I wanted to refresh the topic and ask fellow board members what retail blades on the market today have relatively little to no rocker? Aside from Black Beauty blades and Easton's Modano/Forsberg/Zetterberg pattern? Easton Iginla and CCM Recchi I believe were also mentioned?

What others?

I think it would be very useful to include the "rocker" component of a blade within the pattern database.

Thanks in advance!
