shnuggs 0 Report post Posted July 21, 2006 Coming from a fellow guitar player -- both videos are just good - average -- although the heavy slap strum style is cool.Check youtube for some Tim Reynolds clips -- hes got some crazy stuff -- and on an acoustic guitar -- much harder then an electric. Coming from another guitar player, I'd say that stuff is better then average. Specially to come up with that slap acoustic one
Dante2004 0 Report post Posted July 21, 2006 I hate to be a critic...but was that real? Maybe the audio and video streams weren't lined up on my download...but it didn't seem like the audio lined up with his playing.Someone played the audio...and that sounded good. And he seems to know what he is doing (to some degree) in the video...just don't know if what we are seeing is what we are hearing.
Allsmokenopancake 0 Report post Posted July 21, 2006 Search for "Trace Bundy" or "Acoustic Ninja"Guy is amazing. Also, if anyone has ever heard of Rodrigo y gabriela, they are brazillians, who used to be in a metallica cover band, but moved to Ireland, and do their own stuff now, but search for "rodrigo y gabriela stairway" for an amazing version of stairway to heaven

The audio and video isnt synched up, it happens all the time on youtube. The guitar in the first video is also heavily processed. Either he's also changing settings with a pedal board, played it all and changed the settings in post or punched in and re-recorded parts.
