any one remember the WOOD Messier pattern just like one year before the OPS was introduce? i had this stick when i was 12 so in 2001.

The stick was all black and writing messier on the stick in white!

I think it was a iginla but closed face i mean like no openess at all.

I think one of the best curves is the Darby pattern. Just the perfect all around pattern for me. Ive had 5 ops so far with it since 2003, and I just hope its around in pro sticks for alot longer.

Salming- Pro 6

Louisville P13

Both of these were pretty much identical and were awesome...Very slight curve w/ a slight open face at the end of the blade

seem very nice. but isnt the P13 sudin?

I love the SherWood Leclair. Not so much for the curve, I wish it were deeper and a little more open, but because its the only stick I've found with a 4.5 lie. I skates all hunched over and low and even though i LOVE the Sakic and Yzerman curves during stick and puck, during games I always lose the puck under the toe.

It's not the same curve Sundin uses now.

Titan Infusion Selanne. Really durable blades with just the right amount of curve and a square toe. I had found 10 of them on eBay last year, but they're all gone now as I play mostly outdoor Roller.

Now I rock the Easton Modano/Forsberg. If it had a square toe, it would be perfect.

According to the pattern DB

Nash

Ferraro

Leclair

Bourque

06 Fedorov

All have a 4.5 lie

i had an old tps pro pattern wood blade that was my favorite blade of all time. it had no name on it and at the time i bought it my lhs had tonnes of them of coarse i cant find them anymore. the curve was like a modano/drury mix it was golden

other then that my favorite current patter that i have would be palma or darby

This one may actually be decent for some of the "old memories" that we get when we see curve names

I loved the Koho Ozolinish and Bauer Tverdovsky patterns. I've switched to Drury now and I kind've miss the old Leetch pattern (square toe, Drury type curve)

Ozo curve was my favorite for a long time. I got into Modo's and stayed with them. I still have two of the Ozos in my blade collection though. I use them every once in awhile. I come back from a game after using it, and just have this urge to kill a 6 pack and half a bottle of vodka...

I would have to say the Gilmour curve from Hespler (circa 1994) or the Sundin CCM curve (circa 199). Right now I'm making the goalies look silly with my Lemieux curve.

I really liked the old titan forseberg pattern.

your the one for me. i miss that curve.

i get a kick out of all the "we have too many of these threads" people. is there a more pressing topic around here...really? its a chat board. people like to chat about curves. who cares if it comes up a hundred times, if it wasnt for these conversations there wouldnt be that much to talk about around here, so please give it a rest thread nazi's.
