I have a pair from the closeout sale I am willing to sell with SHIPPING INCLUDED for $60, see my post in the sell section.

my AMPs turned into a gift for one of my best friends to get him on inlines at all. He played ice, hasn't skated in a year and felt right at home tonight. He said they felt just like his ice skates.

I played my first game in my He10000's with the springs mounted. I have to say they take a little getting used to, but I could pretty much instantly feel increased mobility. My balance is off just slightly, but I think that has to do with the fact that I have been playing on mission hi-lo frames. So far this frame is absolutely the best I have ever used, and I have used Bauer TUUK straight (all 72mm), Vibe, Hi-Lo, TUUK rocker, and now sprung. The Sprungs are pretty much what the TUUK rocker should have been. I almost have too much grip now, I found myself chirping the wheels in some turns, but that could also be the new Rinkrat MB816's I put on with the sprungs or a combination.

I will try to provide further impressions in a couple of weeks, but so far I am a convert.

How big are you and which hardness of the RR are you using? I am going to try the new frames on a stiffer boot and am debating with the MB816 as to which hardness to go with.

I'm 5'11" 165 lbs. The MB816's are 76A's I believe, but I don't have the skates with me to verify.

Blue with white.

Also, I could see these frames selling a lot of skates for a manufacturer that is willing to take the chance.

am on the same configuration... blue with white hub.

I'm 6ft tall and about 210lbs. I've had those explode on me before, and I think Rink Rat 15 said they were a product problem.

i'm 5'11, 175lbs and use the 80a Rink Rat Hotshots on my Hi-Lo setup. I'm getting Sprungs soon and will continue to use them (in all 76mm's of course). i get plenty of grip from them on a Hi-Lo and since the Sprungs give even more grip then i'll be golden.

6ft 195lbs Hot Shots -76a,78a,80a,80a, with the sprungs I can get away with harder wheels gaining speed and they last alot longer without giving up grip.

main reason I've stuck with the MB816's is that my previous skates had some 688 titanium bearings in them... and my usual 608 bearings are pretty much shot. The wheels were pretty good, but the cores on the front two basically just cracked thru after the second skate... I had to revert back to my old wheels.

Also had a pretty good deal on some 76mm MB816's so decided not to change and stuck some onto my sprungs. Only one session on them so far, but feels real good and turns were much easier. Only prob was with the skate boots (Mission S500). I think it has to do with the insole, and I'm getting some custom footbeds put in as we speak. Will update once i get those in, should be dreamy......

My Hornets look thrashed and they grip too much....Should I go to 78A? Im using 76A now. I play on ice court though, which grips like a mother. What do you guys think?

Haha yeah your RR look torn up cause they are, I hate dreamsports floor! Too much grip and slow puck and player speed because of those holes. Not to mention how badly it tears up all wheels...

are you guys on a sport court type floor with those 78a and 80a?

with the 80a hotshots i played 3 seasons on traditional sport court and pickup on that blue "multi-use" surface stuff. now i'm on exxess ice court and the grip is wildly better. i think i could use my 84a rink rat world cup outdoor wheels on that surface and be fine. i like a little bit of slide when i stop. my stops are pretty lazy so if i use really soft wheels i feel like i'm going to break my ankles.

my son skated on his new sprung set up last night,he said each stride was a better push, the turning was tighter, the stopping was smooth.he said there was a nice smooth flow to his skating.a much better set up then any frame he used before.
