very nice commercial - high definition was a good choice

only thing i might try to do would be to get a good slow motion shot of someone turning side by side with a shot of someone turning on ice - or it would be interesting to see how the frames perform in slow motion - could possibly help you have ideas on how to improve them even further

Hi guys, this is my first sprung-conversion (Reebok 9K White + Sprung chassis A6). I think the first one ever made in Italy. What do you think?

The only trouble I have is that in one skate the chassis is not perfectly allineated with the line on the sole.

At today practice I'll try them...I'm so excited! B)

Bravo... well done for the first mount. I wouldnt be too worried about the misalignment yet... try them out, and see how they feel. Sprungster did mention before that even if you misalign the heel more to the outside, it was ok...

Hey,

So i just had a few questions about the chassis. Are these chassis made for durability? I was under the impression these skates were made for high level competition. Or are the chassis mainly for ice players when they aren't in season-so that they can keep in shape and what not? I just recently bought a set of A6's and put them on a pair of easton S9's just yesterday. I wore them for the first time at my schools practice and broke off the back arm. Is this common? Other than that, the chassis feel really good. I definitely feel a difference from my old skates-i had Grafs on a mission chassis.

evwu, check with Sprungster, he should be able to help you with some parts if needed.

They are meant for durability, and mishaps happen. THe best thing about them is if it was damaged you can swap out parts easily... in a rigid frame, you'd have to change the whole thing.

They are on closeout because the rocker arms are not as break-proof as the A7/A8 arms. It's a lot harder to make bigger parts in less space, but that's what the A6X will be after I'm done doing the other stuff that has to get done first. The A6s are a great deal, and easily fixable. The wall might have bent your aluminum frames permanently.

cant say for the hummer to sprung switch, but i can chime in for hilo/vanguard to sprungs. For those who think that the material is not strong enough, its plenty strong with me giving it some abuse, hacks from opposing players, and taking numerous slap shots to the frame and arms.

The switch does take a few skates, but once you get used to them, you'll never go back. I wore my sprungs for 2 sessions of drop in, then at the next drop in I brought both my sprungs and previous pair I was wearing for over 3 months, including a tournament. Wore the sprungs for 5 mintues, then put the previous pair on... felt like I was learning to skate all over again, the pitch felt ackward, couldnt get an edge... went back to sprungs, and have been on them ever since. The only time I've played with something else since the permanent switch is on a pair of hilos I had to borrow because I was too lazy to bring my gear back home when I visited my folks.

I wont shy away from trying out anything, but sprungs are very good... they always made their debut at the Nationals yesterday...ended up 2-1 winners over another state team.

I went from hummers to a6's and I noticed an increase in agility and my speed was slightly faster. Overall it probably took 4-5 game to get fully comfortable on them

I think if you go from any rigid frame to the sprung you will feel a difference.Give them a chance,I feel they give you the advantage skating one on one.Ive been skating on sprungs for 3 years and still feel they are the best performance frame out there.these frames are for any inline skater, great for the ice player going ice to inline.

Skated on them for the first time today for 2 hours, and they felt incredible! I did start feeling some pressure pionts towards the last half hour or so of practice but nothing that can't be fixed.

once again Skooled, thanks so much

Mission S500's?! Bringing it back a little, eh? Damn I miss the S-series. I had a pair of S400's and loved them.
