Hey Bobby,

So a friend finally agreed to intervene at the rink, and yesterday he asked the superstar ice/roller kid and his father when the Wicked 1's would be returned. Father and son knew they were on loan and not mine to give away. His reply was, "We're not returning them."

This is after about five months of asking father and son for their return and being told they would be returned.

When I asked the kid last week why I didn't even get an apology after so long, he said, "It's not my fault. It's too hard to remember to bring the skates to the rink."

I'll cover your feet to your satisfaction, regardless.

FIle a police report in a heartbeat.

I sure don't miss being in sales and having to suck up to assholes and their kids. This is one of the MANY reasons I could never be in business for myself. Good Luck.

Sprungster, I tried to PM you but it says your box is filled. A few weeks ago, I emailed you on your website about possibly sending a banner to me so I could advertise your frames when the local rink here in that I run a few leagues out of gets finished. I haven't heard back from you, If you could let me know if we could do something I'd appreciate it.

Thanks

Justin

will you have the sprungs for sale in detriot and if so will you be around monday

Yes, they will be for sale in the store in the rink. They can probably mount them for you too. They did a bunch last year.

I'll be there Monday through Saturday, and I have 10 or 11 pairs of sample skates from 6.5-10.5. All new 76 duro Hot Shots and Labeda Titanium bearings, and ready to fly.

Well, I'm at the AAU Championships and it's hopping. I brought eleven pairs of skates with me and there's usually only 4-5 pair on the table. The rest are in games. Lots of ice guys saying guess what? "Wow it is the same as ice." The shop sold out the first day and I had to put together a bunch from parts I brought.

JR, where are you? I read in Michigan Hockey that you're really the. So tell me what's it like to be the?

Nice article, and even true!

Iceburg rules!!!!! And I'm an honorary Long Islander, now.

Congratulations to Casey and AJ for making the All American team.

Congratulations to Brad and Blake for being totally cool and dishing out some way sick hockey.

KEITH, PLEASE read your email! I have an EMERGENCY!

Chris

Done. :)

We've gotten Monster trials here. A lot of players put on the samples Sunday and used them all week in all their games including the finals. Same with the new group that just came in.

And we sold out in the shop. And they're going in Parani's (SP?). I went to the store with a bud and the manager recognized the frames which I just happened to have mounted on some Bauer 50s. They were mounting a pair that someone had bought in the shop here and bought boots at Parani's. They were mounting them for free for the player!!

I mounted boots all week before leaving and I've been mounting them here all week here. Fine with me!

This is the type of spacer you should have... When inbetween two bearings, it will complete "the tunnel" so that the axle will be able to fit through perfectly. No part of the spacer, however, will enter into the middle of the bearing like standard spacers do. You might have to wiggle the axle around, as these types of spacers if not aligned properly will creat a ridge in the tunnel, but other than that, it should fit. Can you tell where the axle is getting held up?

I just picked up this type of spacer:

They fit perfectly but I am concerned that they do not have that disc at center. Are mine going to work fine?

Your type of spacer should work fine. The only difference is, the ones with the disc in the center is easier to line up the hole for the axle.

Ahh now I understand what that thing is for. Thanks for the reply man!

While I certainly won't be winning any "Sharpest Sprungs" contests, what with the Supreme One90s, Vector 10.0s and Flexlites (with their chassis respectively dyed) converted, I thought I might at least give Jay Mazer a chance to show off his incredible mounting work. Unfortunately, said work was in the hands of a very incapable cameraman, so bear with me.

Um...too much wheel in the back...

I went down to Taylor today to hang out with Keith. Got pulled over by a Statie going 58 down Telegraph and pulled the "out of towner going to a hockey tournament" since I still have FL plates and he let me go!

While I was there I met iceburg - cool guy - didn't know that I'm originally from LI.

All in all, a good time - Keith was getting a lot of positive response from skaters concerning the sprung product.

Im using 78A RR's on ice court. I weight 145. Sould I try softer wheels? THe grip is great with the 78A, and the 76A RR's seemed to wear fast on me. What do you guys think?

I am far from an expert.... not sure. I think these wheels get worn faster than the harder ones on the outdoor surface. But from what I've read here, ice court does that.

I just got a set of Sprungs on my XXV Vapors and I'm using all 76A Labeda's. Seem to be working well so far after 3 games. I'm wondering if I maybe should go to 78a's in the front and back wheel and 76's in the middle. But, like I said, everything is working fine now. I'm about 175lbs.
