Mission prostock shafts

Alrite since ididnt want that thread to get clogged with all these mission prostock shaft questions heres this thread. alrite to start it off i want to ask what flex is yellow w/ the dangler shaft, will an ion 90 flex compare to a beemer 90 flex, and which shaft is better the ion or the dangler. thanks, feel free to ask any other questions too!

I'd persoanlly wanna know some ins and outs of each one. I don't have much experience with Mission stuff.

I was leaning towards a standard shaft so I got more blade choices/availability...but the L-2, it's listed as a standard...thought it was tapered or was it some sorta pro stock deal?

My buddy had a dangler shaft about 4 years ago and from what I remember it was a really good shaft,

And the shafts listed as Ethers are indeed Flyweights?

I had 2 danglers and both lasted me 2+ years of constant use.

I've got a prostock L-2 shaft that used to be a OPS (I cut the blade off and put a Synthesis blade in) It seems very durable, but I really haven't used it much.

I have an l-2 and love it .. the blades sucked but the shaft is awesome light and durable .. which is a suprise since it's so light. I just bought 3 ether shafts though.. I'm normally a glass is half full kinda person but I'm thinking very few if anyone who jumped on this will actually get what they bought.. we'll see though .

and I guess since we have this thread I'll ask again. How did you guys know the ether is the prostock flyqweight??

I believe that "ether"was mision's term for "tapered". Mission was the first with a short-hosel tapered shaft/blade combo. I didn't really see/hear the term "tapered" until easton's synthesis came out a year or two later. There were 2 ether shafts- the flyweight and the team comp ether. Flyweight was top of the line, team comp was below, heavier with more fiberglass.

Also, Mike from mission told us that they were selling pro stock flyweights to HM in another thread.

Didnt the t-flex comp shaft come before it too or no?

there was the aluminm Tflex, then a graphite version, red/black (i think they called it a Zbubble) then the green/black comp

Nike and mission both came out with short hosel blades around the same time, nikes were standard, just like the later vapor 8's

there was the aluminm Tflex, then a graphite version, red/black (i think they called it a Zbubble) then the green/black comp

Nike and mission both came out with short hosel blades around the same time, nikes were standard, just like the later vapor 8's

They had the blue aluminum (100 flex) first, then the black (95 flex) after that. First graphite one was black/white, then they had a purple-ish/yellow one followed by the green graphite one. Then there was the T-Bubble, but that's a scab I won't pick for anyone.

Yeah, HM sent it to me saying to contact them 'as soon as possible.' They're not open for another day so I'm just playing out all these scenairos in my head about what it could be. I don't think they're all out, I didn't order like 20 shafts and this was right after they were put up. Someone is saying they're going to charge more than what I initially paid, which I think is illegal, but we'll see on monday.

Companies do not have to honor a misprint.

They're not going to charge more money without asking. They'll ask you if are still interested in them, and if you're not they put the shafts back in inventory.

I'd still pay if it was misprinted, an extra $10 won't be too much of a difference. That doesn't mean I'm gonna let them change it without hearing it from me :P .

When did you buy them? Was it when they were 3 for 60 dollars or 3 for 30 dollars ? Good luck.

I bought 4 Hex-1s and 3 Hex-1 Grips when it was 3 for $60. I'm guseeing its to clear up the pricing on the fourth Hex-1, as it would be the price for an individual one and I only paid $20 for it.
