Nike Blisters

Recommended Posts

Hey, I have Nike Roller Daddy's and I am getting blisters on both my big toes. Just on the inside of them. I feel no pain when I skate, though when I am finished and take my skates off I can see them. Help?

They probably are too wide in the toe box for you. Blisters come from rubbing, and rubbing comes from the movement of your foot in the boot. I'll bet your toes have too much room in those skates.

Theres probobly some better answers out there but if it was me I'd either pad my toe with something or just like you said wear thicker socks.

Do bauer/Nike even do E width(retail)?

What do you mean? 'Do they hurt?' they hurt one and off.

I should mention that at the same time, I will often get pains around the arch area of my foot, I will be trying to get some superfeet or shock doctors for this.

Last year I used Nike V-Force boots for roller and those boots are similar to the Roller Daddy boots - I usually have to wear E or EE width boots in most brands, but in the Nike I can use D as the D width skates have a wide forefoot and toe box. I can image EEs in that brand would be enormous in the forefoot and toe area so unless you have REALLY wide feet I'd say the EEs are too wide and you'd be better off looking for a D width if you like those skates.

I won't be getting another pair of those skates, I will probably get some Wicked Lights or I will get an ice boot and mount it on the roller daddy frame.

How old are the skates Muzz? I had the same skates and after about a yr I started getting really strong pains in the arch of my foot and lower ankle. Turns out these skates were breaking down prematurely. I ended up buying new skates and that pain dissappeared completely. Whilst Im having issues with my current skates (Bauer XR's) I have to say the speed with which the Roller Daddy's broke down was really dissapointing, considering how awesome they were out of the box. <_<

Grab the boots, and press in the ankle sections from the outside with your thumb an fingers. If it compresses as easily as cardboard without much stiffness then I'd say they are screwed like mine and lack the proper support to carry you further.
