Raycroft having a big year would be huge for the leafs seeing as belfour couldn't get the job done in the end i think Razor will be good last yr. with the bruins was depressing being a bruin fan but i think Raycroft will have a solid year.

Without Mats there isn't much leadership on the Leafs, plus he's their best player by far. If Raycroft tanks it won't matter how good the rest of the team is though.

Peca could lead the team if Mats went down. They'd be brutal offensively, but have a chance in games with a solid D-core and a full flight effort everynight. Without Raycroft they're doomed. He needs to play well.

Raycroft.

Because without Sundin they still aren't too bad, still bad though. Without Raycroft they don't have a goalie, they don't have a goalie then they lose EVERY game.

As opposed to most :P .

I would, I've seen him fight. It's funny because neither are pussies, both play a hard physical game. Just because they aren't from Canada doesn't mean they are pussies. Although I figured Fake Don Cherry would pipe up and say something stupid eventually.

It's essentially asking who has the hardest role to cover if they faulter. If Sundin doesn't score, can they still win? If Raycroft plays like crap, can Aubin step up and get'em to the playoffs? If Peca isn't able to shut down other teams top lines, can Pohl/Stajan do it? This is the line of thinking to be used if you are going with the "Team as a unit" line.

Sundin gets my vote, that was a monster shot. I don't care if Kipper was slightly screened by a stick.

All 3 of his goals were great and that solidifys why he is their MVP in my eyes.
