epuck.com actually has pre-ordering for the One90's. It gives an explanation of the stick.

Speaking of Vapor XX's, why are the new specifically colored ones about $200? My one LHS carries some of them.

It seems to be talked of as a stronger stick. Someone else on here mentioned it was supposed to be a powerstick. I won't get one but I think it is a pretty sweet color though.

the one90 is basically the same thing as the vapor xxx-lite i think. And the one90 is lighter than an sl

No, the ONE90 is essentially a lighter XX.

And isn't the Vapor XXX a lighter version of the XX? And the XXXlite a lighter version of the XXX? etc etc.

No, the XXX and XX are two different sticks altogether.

beside the fact that the xxx are true one piece. what is the difference? I tought they both had the same feeling. Well both the XX shaft and XXX feel the same to me. so the difference must be in the blade.

XXX shaft is "bulkier" and very square shaped where the XX is a bit rounder and smaller. I believe the XXX has a bit longer taper, but I'm not sure. XXX is like 10 or 20 grams lighter.

XXX-Lite had same shape as XXX, but there are differences in the materials/construction that make it lighter.

If the One90 is like the XX, i might want to take a look at that.

Let me see if I got this right.

The Vapor XXX is not a fused OPS...

The Vapor XXX-lite (also not a fused OPS) is a lighter version of the Vapor XXX...

The one90 is a lighter version of the Vapor XX...

Sound about right?

So whats with epuck saying the one90 is for heavy shots?

Because apparently a stick thats heavier than the average OPS, but lighter than 99% of sticks that were out 5 years ago is for "heavier shots"

im thinking of buying a vapor xxx-lite or a one90 which one is more durable? i know nobody has used one. but from all the games i have been watching i havent seen one break does anyone have a idea of how durable the one 90 is.

you cant judge from how many games youve watched how durable a stick is since those sticks are pro stock adn are custom made for that player and are a lot stronger thatn the retail type so they cant be compared

the one90 is supposedely a more durable stick since its for, as someone in here said, "heavy shots"

^Use of sticks is more than just the time on the ice in the games. They probably use new sticks in games, and then use them for practice the next day, because who cares if it breaks in a practice. There's nothing worse than a piece of equipment failing in the middle of a game.

After I too, broke my SL grip I could have waited to see what the one90 was like (in November), but I couldn't wait 20 days(I would go crazy if I had to wait that long for a new stick). So I went to the best LHS for sticks in my area, were I came to a Conundrum. Either the Vapour XXX lite or the Warrior mac Daddy (yes the great big vibrant, neon, highlighter coloured stick...).

They were both true OPS' and the same weight/curve/flex, so it came to the point were I had to close my eyes and mix the sticks up and check them out without knowing which one is which I took the stick with better feel, and responsiveness-And It must have taken me half an hour to decide...(literally) Finally I came to a decision. I am not joking... I took the warrior and do not regret it at all (it was also $20 cheaper), its is absolutley amazing (as long as you dont mind the colour, which would be awesome if it was yellow instead B) ). I have played 2 games already with it and have scored 3 goals (not that that has to do with the stick...). One question I still am pondering though, why do NHLers still only use dolomites instead?

I guess it just goes to show you that you never know unless you try something out, even if the colour sucks... But im still going to try to get a pro stock XXX lite of EWH cause they are such a good price...

PS sorry about the long story, I kinda go off on little writing tangents sometimes.. <_<

That is completely untrue, who told you that?

I use Pro Stocks mostly and they are the same thing as retail, unless a stick is painted as another model, the only custom thing on the stick is the pattern and sometimes the player's name.
