We don't nessecarly have a rink on campus, but theres a 2 ice surface arena a 5 minute walk from school.

Don't have one on campus but there are 4 within a 10 minute drive, 2 more within 15-20 minutes.

To me a rink is boards/glass(chain link)/ice. An arena would be what you're going for, but that's just me.

Cost? I couldn't begin to tell you. I'm working on building a house and I'm hoping I can pick up this lot next to me. If I can do that, i'm building a "half-court" rink for sure.

The majority of NE prep schools have their own rinks, tuition and endowment cover those expenses easily...

My school is a public school and our rink is indoors and seats 5,000 or something like that. Its pretty awesome seeing as how for 1/4 the school year I get to skate for gym class or during my lunch period/s I can go skate during hockey season since my stuff is already in the rink. We also probably have the nicest athletic complex in the state.

A city in northern MN where I've got some friends (Thief River Falls) has 3 rinks which as far as I know the LHS uses. A smaller rink, a medium sized rink and the Ralph Engelstad Arena, not a bad place to have your home games!

I only know of one school that has one and its a private school. The yearly enrollment is like 30 grand a year though so i can see how they can afford it.

My university here in Moncton has a rink of about 2000 seats. Badly maintained but I think it was build sometime in the 60 or 70's. My home town is trying to build a new rink right now between the university campus and high school (both will be linked by an indoor stadium and a 3500 seat arena), a huge project of about 31 millions.
