I don't know if the synergy girlde has the same problem as the bauer mbp does but I had major problems with injuring my hip with the girdle. I recently switched to pro stock pants and love them. Just thought I'd put that out there so you don't go in expecting ultimate protection.

O wow. I havnt really looked at 2006 models. Im pretty sure that there wernt previous synergy girdles were there? because when I bought my Bauer Vapor MBP8's I looked at every possible girdle and never came across any Eastons.

I have been wearing my Synergy girdle for a year now and love them...will never go back to a traditional pant. Super light and a comfy snug fit...but it's all PP.

Does anyone know how the Bauer compares to the Easton?

Great protection if you play no-check, no slapshot. The protection on the Synergy is Bauer is subpar and equal to a mid-level pair of pants. Even the Tackla girdle isn't as good as a good pair of pants and it's better than the other girdles in terms of protection.

This is the only RBK equipment I wear...the 8K pant. I wore girdles sinse high school, and the 8K is almost like a hybrid.
