Hockey Shops in Cincinnati

Hey all I'm looking for any hockey shops in the Cincinnati area, I don't know the area at all but an address would do just fine. Thanks....

There is a big facility somewhere in Cincinati that had a huge pro shop. I couldnt tell you the exact address, but one way you could find it is to go to the Narch website. Narch held their nationals there I think in 04 and one other year. This facility had 3-4 rinks, one of them being in the middle of a gigantic arcade. (kind of a joke) but the pro shop is really nice there.

imo the pro-shop is ok, but it depends on what you are looking for. they have decent prices, but a low skate selection and lots of left handed sticks. thy also have lots of pants.

and btw, its 2 ice rinks and 1 roller rink with an arcade

there is definately not a peranis in cincinnati

They had a clearance slae there over the summer but there is not a shop.

The Perani's in Ohio is around Cleveland I believe. SportsPlus is really the only one I know about. I don't really recall much about the proshop at the Cincinnati Gardens' Annex.

cincinnati gardens has a small shop with a few things in it. its not a verty good store, but i got a pro stock rbk one peice for like 30$

LChockey-- its funny how percise you are on that! lol, everytime I go there I have to lower my standards for a stick since I'm a righty.

I do think they are kind of expensive though, compared to other lhs. But when theyre basically the only pro shop within an hour they can do what they want.

and yaeha, they allways have everything in left, but terrible selections of right handed sticks!

the have a wide variety of everything you listed, except they are a little overpriced. also, i love getting my skates sharpened there. they have never done a bad job for me.

I play in Illinios. I'm just familiar with sports plus from the narch tournys.

^^ depends who sharpens your skates at sportsplus, can be very hit and miss.... Just go down the road (basically five minutes or less) to northland ice rink and have benny or joe sharpen them. Northland doesn't have a pro shop but it's the rink all us hockey rats go to for open hockey. Sportsplus has a decent pro shop but as said above, an abundance of lefty twigs but very little selection wise in righties. Nice bunch of guys as well (Especially Kevin). I play in a league at Sportsplus and can't stand the crowds on the weekends for their indoor basketball leagues, the pizza hut, the bar, the climbing wall, the arcade etc etc etc... my two cents.

Where is northland? Because when the tournys are in Cincy, they use two rinks. One being the sportsplex, the other rink is a short drive away. It has like a really old wooden floor rink used for public skating, no hockey. Then they have a nice rink on the other side. Is that it? If that is it, I'm pretty sure that pro shop is the size of a walk in closet.

nice lil rink they got there, clean facility and lkrm's.
