Its a custom color CCM Pro girdle. Usually they are blue (like mine) but his is the coyotes color instead.

While he has a girdle underneath, he also has the bottoms of a regular pant on (the CCM)

The RBK is a true girdle shell. That, and the phasing of the CCM logo is why Georges is wearing it.

Notice that there aren't many CCM gloves in the league anymore. Those old CCM glove guys are wearing the RBK. There will be three guys left in the league wearing CCM gloves - Ovechkin/Lecavalier/Thornton (who's not really wearing a CCM glove)

And please, it is not because CCM is going away. It is RBK trying to be the official on-ice brand.

I actually am going to argue the CCM logo is on the girdle and the RBK is on the shell becaues the ccm girdle has the silver wraps that go around the inside of the leg. (which are visible in the picture) It doesn't make sense for him to wear a girdle, pants bottoms, and a shell.

Yes, but there is also a Coyotes logo on the other leg, and nobody makes a girdle that does not need a shell. THere are gaps in the padding on a girdle.

What he is wearing is a pant shell underneath, which is open and you can see the Velcro tabs.

While it may not make any sense, he could be using the pant shell for additional protection (you can keep the thigh pads in them)

OK, so I looked all over Getty images and each picture with his legs in it. I found a couple that show the girdle bottom and the shell. It looks like a regular blue one with the coyote red along the bottom (under the velcro leg straps.) It is also no problem for anyone to put a logo on the bottom of the shell. (needle and thread baby)

As long as you don't hit me with an old sock. I think that it is CCM girdle + RBK shell. You can get your crayolas out and draw a picture if you like.

I had to take the picture into Photoshop and brighten the hell out of it.

You're half right. Now that I brightened up the picture, I see the Velcro tab on the girdle leg.

However, that is not your regular run of the mill girdle right there. I believe that's a cut/sew job from the bottoms of a regular pant. I know his dad and have met Georges a few times - maybe I need to go see him play when he's in town and ask him myself. :)

He uses wood. All of RBK's wood sticks are labeled Reebok.

Yanic Perreault is another guy in Reebok sticks.
