Malkin's goal tonight

Recommended Posts

Man, if that d-man didn't go for the puck, Malkin would've had to sit out a couple more games.

Otherwise nice moves, made Brodeur look pretty foolish on that one

That was just silly. He's putting up good numbers. I know it's early but wow, the Penguins may be a little more comptetitive this year.

How long did it take them to win 5 games last year...? I think it's safe to say they are more competitive than last year.

It was a great goal but have you guys seen the Datsyuk's goal after the big hit by Markov. I still cannot believe it. This guy has to be the sneakyiest player in the league.

what is scariest to me is that Malkin and Crosby have only played for a short time together. I can't wait to see what happens when the reaaly start gelling. It may be like the old days of Lemieux and Jagr.

Hopefully they can keep up the chemistry and not let any egos get in the way.

 Shame on you... <_<

Well technically Malkin is outscoring Koitar in terms of points per game. I still think Kopitar makes a bigger impact for his club. Malkin is amazing, don't get me wrong, he'll probably be what Alexi Yashin could never live up to but Kopitar is basically the most dominating player on his team. Every time hes on the ice he brings something special.

Malkin is a year older and was drafted 2nd overall in a very deep draft. On the other hand Kopitar was drafted 11th overall in a mediocre draft so I think hes taking everyone by surprise.

I think this years calder race will be better then last..

I think that Crosby/Ovy race for calder was the best we had for couple years. So your wrong it will be a Malkin win anyway if he continue playing with Crosby and he saty healty
