i think 10 years ago would have been better. Right around the Insanity Peppers episode is when they should have done a movie.

I still watch, but the quality has gone way down. The DVDs/repeats are better than the current season.

I might see it in theaters, maybe a matinee.

well. i have season 1-14 and i have to say, we.ll... well...

well okay... at least theres a few good eps around seasons 9-10-11.. but afterwards its pure....

well, i duno, love the show, esp the classics, so... will see the movie, but hopefully be a grandfinale of simpsons that i will ever. it may just be really good

I hear ya on the Tenacious D comment. I saw their trailer and was disappointed they're using stuff in the movie from their HBO series days.

The simpsons will continue on and on and on... I don't see them going anywhere. Its too much of a staple now. Their re-runs are like Seinfeld - on every day, twice!

I disagree their shows have gone downhill. I still think they're funny and witty. Occasionally they suck.

The big one that has gone downhill imho is south park.

Noway I'm less-mature then ever and I can tell that show has seriously gone down hill, i think the movie was the peek and it was a steady road from there.

As for a Simpsons movie, I remember the day when it was the law to watch simpsons every night but now its just another TV Schedule filler in my eyes.
