alright so we have our highschool homeopener this thursday...we shut off all the lights than each player goes out on the ice when their name is called and are under a spot light and everything.

anyone have any good tunes that would be good background music to play while all this is goin on?

Agent Orange-Old school punk/surf tunes. Get some of their instrumentals like Pipeline and Miserlou.

Personally, the opening of Hell's Bells gets me every time...I can't hear the bells without my heart-beat going up a few notches. It's a learned response - it's in the "Pre-Game" playlist on my iPod...

Rain Wizard -- Black Stone Cherry

Would be a flat out amazing intro song like if you were all outside the rink, lights off, they start song and you all run onto the rink. That would be the best song I can think of to do this to. Except you could only use this song for like the first 40 seconds, cause after that it gets a little soft.

That's a good one. While it doesn't make much sense for an intro like the OP is talking aboot, "Beautiful People" by Marilyn Manson is a hell of a song to warm up to. I remember standing in the locker room listening to the beginning part thinking what the hell is this. As we filed out onto the ice it kept building and building and turned out to be a sweet warm up song.
