ive seen kids around here use hurricanes GU sticks cut basically in half so it would be their size :o

I had a coach who used to take my broken shafts for his little guy. He was small enough so he really didnt flex his sticks at all anyways, plus when your short on cash it's a good way too impress the little guys.

ive seen a kid whose no more than 2 1/2 feet tall using a 110 flex synergy grip. i swear it was cut right at where the bottom EASTON logo starts!

I was always encouraged to use a still stick at young age to strengthen my wrists, then after to use a whippier one once you get the hang of the stiff one.

It doesnt really matter when you're in mini-mite. I mean when i was that age I couldnt even flex a 35 flex stick.

There is another major problem with a kid using a senior stick, kids hands are way too small to gripping shafts that are boxy. Flex isnt a problem since no kid can utilize a proper flex at that age. For kids the parents should go out buy the cheapest possible wood stick and just cut it down. You dont need nothing too fancy at that age.
