Pffft I'm one of the biggest Xbox supporters around but I still think the 360 has been out done by PS3.

To be honest, i cant tell you how long it really lasts. Sony says that it lasts 30hours of gaming, but its not that long. If i had to guess, i'd say 10-15hours maybe?

If you think about it, i stated my opinion, then when he disagreed, he could/should have stated why he disagreed. I was giving an opinion, i wasnt disagreeing with anyone, therefore; nothing was really needed to support what i said.

he could easily have been giving an opinion as well, don't argue semantics when you yourself are inconsistent. all the negative things i hear about the ps3 aren't inherent in the machine itself but center around there not being enough games or there isn't much online. how is it fair to compair the xbox online with the ps3 when the xbox has been available for over a year?

it seems like people who own xbox's are feeling a bit insecure

Sony is losing a lot of money on each system they sell. They make no money from console sales, they make it from software sales. Xbox has been very successful for M$. I am as big as a microsoft hater as there is, but I think they make a better system and have better planing than Sony did.

Nintendo has the best business plan from all three companies. They lose the least on each unit and they make a bundle from games.

I dont think it really flopped...was just rushed. Has much more potential.

I think its good enough, and i like it. Im semi biased tho, cause im a Halo and Forza freak. And price wise, its def a better bargain.

And i dont think it matters what you use, you could be playing Super Nintendo and it would look spectacular on that monster tv u have! :lol:

I was under the impression they were actually making money on the systems. I bought a Wii and I personally think its fantastic. The graphics are mediocre, but they're good enough to still enjoy the game. The real difference between the Wii and previous consoles I've played is that I actually have *fun* playing it. Its also a great party machine. We had a bunch of people over for Thanksgiving and everyone had a blast playing it. The control system rocks.

I will eventually buy a PS3. The graphics are awesome, and I would buy it just for that reason alone. I've only played that one racing game at Best Buy on the sample system, but they were good on that game and I loved watching all the stuff blow up when you ran into walls or off cliffs. The game itself was so-so. Like I said, Wii is more fun. I was going to buy a PS3 on day 1 but wasn't able to get one. Now I'll probably wait a year or two. PS2 and Wii will suffice for now.

M$ has only sold 7million systems. It has been oldsold by the 6year old playstation2 every month except for the launch month.

MS only has better planning from a business perspective. Sony has to deal with much more R&D overhead and the writability of code from programmers. Their system is much more powerful though. Unfortunately it's also complex.

I agree with what was said about the Wii though. Even though it may not have as good of graphics, if the games are fun then who cares?

hey cmon ppl $600 for ps3 is CHEAP. Buy a computer for $600 and don't expect any gaming on it. Add the fact that the ps3 can run linux, you have a computer there which you can surf the net with. With MULTI-CORE processor and graphics comparable to Nvidia 7950GTX, this is a pretty good deal. (Add the 60 GB HD and blu-ray too) But I believe these machines are going to be outdated in a year. DX10 is coming out for PC and those graphics on PS3 and X360 are ancient. Its a sad fact. PC continually evolve but consoles get a refresh only every few years.

BUT HERE'S THE GOOD THING FOR A GAMING PC, EXPECT TO PAY $3000+ !! 5X the price of a PS3.

iam in the same boat as you.i was going to get a ps3 on the 1st day,but couldnt end up geting ahold of one. iam #3 on the list,so when they get 3, ill get the 3rd.

i dont see how any system on the market right now can beat the fun factor of the wii. this concept is great and it took guts from nintendo to do this. it was definately a sucess and i love my wii

Ye, I know seriously they don't even have a ps3 they've only played demos. In the long run ps3 is going to rip the 360. I used to be a xbox fanboy myself. These guys seem pretty biased to me.

the playstation 3 wont be fully capable for like another 3 years, and honestly i dont see the price going down. hd dvds or blueray disks will eventually phase out regualr dvds.
