i experimented, its hollow all te way to the blade, but that point in the pic is where a tapered fits

my pro stock 7v as a visible fuse spot line at the same spot where you cuted yours. the 7v is an awesome stick feel as light as an xxx-lite and good puck feel no wonder it a very popular stick in nhl,ahl,echl.

they also paint 10.0s as sickicks so that's another reason why the sickick looks soo popular.

i've been thinking of getting a new stick, and narrowed it down to the one90 and the sickick...only thing is, the sickick 85 seems significantly stiffer than the one90 87 flex.

once i cut my sticks down, they're about 95-100 ish, is it just me, or is the sickick stiffer than others?
