QUESTONS: NBH One70 Stick

I saw it in a store and noticed it was priced at approx. $180.00 Cdn. So my questions are:

- Has anyone used this stick yet?

- If so how does it perform?

- What other stick on the market would it be comparable to(ie. Easton Synergy St)?

I've used it and I wouldn't compare it to an ST. I hated it to be honest, along with all my other teammates who used it. Felt like I was playing with a 2 by 4.

I was amazed how much heavier the One70 was compared to the One90. I would spend the extra money to get a One90. I've had mine for two months and still is in perfect condition minus the paint chipping. Knock on wood.

i've got one in a lindros curve, med 77 flex cuz i'm pretty weak so, thought id give it a run, now im not really that great a player so i can't really comment on what is amazing/bad about this stick, but these are the questions you may need answered

do i like it? Yes.

Would i buy another one? probably not

For almost $200 you could do better in my opinion, but otherwise, im enjoying my time with it

I think it's around 525 or so, felt a lot like the Vapor VIII at the store tonight. Not impressed. Endure felt better for the money but none of them felt particularly amazing.

I too was looking at the one70. But now since I have heard bad things about it I'm looking at the warrior dolomite 2 grip. I am thinking of getting a two piece because it is cheaper. I was just wondering what size replacement blade fits the intermediate flex/shaft. I am also looking at the synergy sl, and the vector 8.0. These are all options for you guys that are in a similar situation as me.

At one of the LHS' they have in my area the One 70 and one 90 were the exact same price so i say if you can pay the extra if needed to get the one 90

i have a Dolomite 2 piece grip combo 70 flex (int. shaft) with a Dolomite blade (a Sr. dolomite blade fits in perfect). i have had it since last summer, and the blade is just starting to chip on the toe. I recommend it 100%.

is the Grip similar to the grip on Nike Bauer sticks? I ordered a Dolomite 2 piece today, but I couldn't get grip from the place I ordered it from...

I actually didn't mind mine at all. Weight was heavier than I like, but the balance was better than most sticks I use, which helped offset it. Blade stayed stiff, stick wasn't as durable as I'd like for that weight (what I believed was the reason it was heavier). It's $150 CAD around here, and not a bad purchase for that kind've cash. I'd go the close-out OPS route instead of it, but if there aren't any around you it isn't a terrible buy.
