anyone have problems with MIA?

i filled out the form online to send my order over 2 weeks ago now. i followed up their auto reply email with an email a week after. a customer service guy reply'd to me telling me to send them what my choices are. i told him i already did & fowarded him the auto reply email they send me. left a phone message last week. still nothing.

this was supposed to me by g/f's bday present to me :(

haha.

I'm going to get a helmet and jump into the foxhole on this one.

i've read every mia thread thats ever been on this board ever. & i'm not asking what the website address is. so there. :P

i'm just wondering, cause i see a lot of guys who say they got it in a week, or 10 days, or something. & its taken over 2 weeks just to get back to me at all & acknowledge i want to order something.

I didn't mean that you'd ask for its web address, it's just that there have been many long and ugly discussions over the company. I'm glad to see it's not turning out that way, but sorry for your delay.

& i read them all. but i didn't see anyone with anything really negative to say. i haven't paid yet. if this is gonna be a many month process, i may just go buy something off the shelf & save the money. i think its a fair question. :)

why's that? MIA sponsors the site or something <_<

i've seen "delete any negative topics about our product or we'll pull our sponsorship" too many times on all types of forums.

For me, MIA was awesome in dealing with. It could have been that they were pretty new to the scene. Actually Chris gaveme his cell phone number because we had a slight issue with the shops hours, and when i got out of school. Although he was at the Air Canada Centre one night (and in Ottawa the next) he still managed to call me and finalize my options. I couldnt believe how excelent their customer service was.

I spoke with Chris from MIA yesterday and apparently the customizer was having some issues and the orders that were placed were not getting through. He told me it was a big mess. I am assuming this is the reason you have been having trouble with your order. He told me not to place my impending order until they have it all sorted out and appologized for the inconvenience.

MIA has been hands down the best company I have ever dealt with. They have taken every step to make sure i get exactly what i was looking for. The first pair of gloves i ordered were an mb11 and i had asked them if they could silk screen a breast cancer ribbon onto the glove. They told me they needed to contact the cancer society in order to find out. I received a call the next day saying that they can print a ribbon on as long as it is not the same copyrighted one and i went ahead and had it done. Great customer service and all around stand up guys that work there. Chris told me the customizer issue should be sorted out by the end of the week and I will post if i find anything else out.

To add to the positive experience...

I ordered MB33 carbon 14" gloves (royal and white) on their website, and got an email back in 2 days. I called them up to pay (they take paypal too) and I spoke to a guy named Michel...real cool guy. He told me the order was sent right to manufacturing, and I will see my beauties at the end of January.

Great service and communication from my experience...can't wait to get them!
