To Skate Sharpeners...

I've been discussing this topic with some different people so I thought I'd post this question for discussion on this board. On your last pass, what type of material do you use? Gusto Glide, bar of soap, wax...? I'm curious to see what others are using and why they prefer it.

I oftern use slik stick, or gusto glide, but depending on the steel, sometimes i dont use it at all.

I have Gusto Glide, Fine Shine and Blackstone's Lube Tube. The oils are messy and I've been preferring Lube Tube because it's cleaner. But I have been working with someone and we've got something really good that I have been giving to a select few just due to the extra work involved, but don't want to mention what it is just yet :)

Yeah, thats what i use aswell.

We once ran out and used this lube for bikes of some sort if i remember correctly.

Yeah, he loves to build up some suspense and attention and then blow our minds with something new. Sneaky, sneaky . My skate sharpener just told me about some new technique he is using and he wouldn't tell me about it yet either...and he's even asked me to start working for him.
