Yup...As someone who gets all Isles games, I can attest to it. Nothing more annoying that a guy who runs his mouth and agitates all over the ice, but refuses to back it up. Oh Well

Exactly, at least Barnaby takes his beatings like a man.

We can all agree on this, with all the new talent in these young guys, the NHL is getting exciting. We all know it's a sport but sometimes we need the drama. Don't get drama confused we disgrace though. disgrace = Bertuzzi/Moore situation.

Yikes. Blake's decision there definitely was retarded and gutless but come on...Crosby was yelling "YOU'RE DEAD" at Blake after the game. Give me a break...thats embarassing.

John Davidson made it sound like blake had too much respect for the guy but i dont really know...

guys love to attack Sid, i guess it has to be annoying to see a young guy be so much better then you and make it look easy...

No it's because they don't respect him. His talents are undeniable but so are his flaws.

At the rate Sid is going in year 2, everything he did in year 1 will be a pimple on the butt of his career! Last night against Toronto he made Recchi look 15 years younger with those set-ups. I think Recchi is happy to be back in Steeltown skating on Sid's line. Those were primary assists by the way. Sid also came back deep and down low to play a strong game defensively. He blocked a few dangerous passes in the offensive zone that the Leafs HNIC guys totally ignored calling out when Sid made the play defensively. 19 years old.............

Same with Ovey and goal celebrations, in five years, he will just pump his fist casualy as opposed to almost jumping out of the rink...

haha, youd think so.. but even after 10 or so years in the NHL pavel bure celebrated most goals pretty wildly.

i miss the rookie season selanne goal celebrations. those were good.

i miss the rookie season selanne goal celebrations. those were good.

I still remember the one where he threw his glove up in the air and then made like he was sooting it, classic.

Glad to hear the guys in the production truck were paying attention. I was watching Crosby's play in his defensive zone just to see what kind of work he does there.

They commented on his defensive play and him being 19 years old at the same time multiple times. I think last night is a perfect example of the whole Sid situation. He had a good game, 1g 2a. I didn't catch the last half of the third period, but in my opinion he wasn't the most dominating player on the Pens. MAF played amazing and really kept his team in it when they were being outplayed early on. Malkin had five assists and in my opinion, really controlled the game. Recchi had a hat trick and an assist. Crosby was the third star of the game, yet every media coverage has "Sid Leading the Pens over the Leafs". Yes he played well, but he wasn't the reason the Pens won but he alone gets all the credit.

Of course they're too long, they only come in adult sizes.
