Bump, any long term updates on the R8 palm durability?

the one90s will be closer to the XXs than the R8s. The R8s are medium loose with nash palm. If anything in NBH's lineup they are like the 4-roll.

I have a pair of R8's and I can assure you they do not have Nash Palms. FFH buttersoft palm, same as R8 Lites, but just without nylon. Leather.

I've found that there are some glove-to-glove variations in the fit of the R8s. We got our shipment in at my shop the other day, so I spent some time checking some of the new stuff out a little bit. It definitely felt to me like there were some relatively subtle differences - some felt a little tighter than others, others had a little more "curve" to the fingers, etc. Nothing major or dramatic, but, in my opinion, definitely noticeable. I'm not sure what other's experiences have been, but I personally wouldn't recommend buying a pair online based on your impression of a pair that you tried-on somewhere else.

They're definitely a quality glove. The fingers are a little long for me, otherwise I'd be giving them a look.

Oh I know exactly what you're talking about, one pair fit "like a glove" and the other had a short pinky.

well, i have had my pair for little over 8 months and there were holes in each palm after about 1 month, durability was absolute garbage on these mitts but the feel was amazing

I just received my new TPS R8 gloves in the mail today. So far I'm very happy with how they fit and the overall feel of them. I'm not on the ice until Saturday night so I won't get a really good idea until then on how they are. If anyone is interested I found them online from www.onestophockeyshop.com. They're located in Freeport New York. I ordered on Monday and received them today (Wednesday). That's pretty quick. I think right now they are out of stock so it might be worth it to keep an eye on their sight if you're in the market for new gloves.

I have two pair of the R8 lites...NY Rangers and Navy colors. What an amazing glove. I find it lighter than the 4 roll, as well as a better fit for me. The most impressive thing about the gloves are that there is no real break in time. I wore the Navy gloves for the first time tonight and I was able to do things with my hands I have not done in years. The other impressive thing is the palm. I have never used anything that felt that grippy and responsive. I am completely sold on these gloves.
