Very interesting find! I was a little upset that they didn't elaborate more into how they put their "one piece" sticks together but I understand their hesitation not to.

Yeah it was kind of disapointing that they didnt really tell you how it was completly made, but I do understand even though I highly doubt any company would actually steal there idea. I'm guessing there Stealth also does poorly in the weight test because I have heard they have horrible durrability. It was intresting though...

that machine has horrible form. The puck was fluttering horribly!

But remember, they said it was going a 100 mph which they say no human can do. I'm sure if the test was done at the average speed of an NHL player's shot it wouldn't have so much torque.

Also, look at the flex in the slo-mo angles. The machine is clamped pretty low on the shaft. I wonder how the flex looks with it clamped in different spots.

Personally, I think they don't want to show the assembly process 'cause thats where the Easton oompa loompas come out and do their thing.

there's no way it could have anything to do with cheaper labor or accessibility of materials..

I understand the labor but I dont understand what you're saying about the materials. If they are making the best quality sticks there wouldn't you be bringing them from the U.S.? I mean, correct me if I am wrong but I don't think Mexicans have better access to lightweight composites.

labor is the reason. there's a worldwide shortage of composite materials right now, which hikes the price up (fraud is not the only reason a stick costs so much)

the quality of a product made in the US is the same as a product made in Mexico, they use the same machines, and people trained just the same as a US worker.

production is booming in mexico right now because it's so close to the US, you can get something here alot quicker than you can if it were made in China.

if you were to have the production based in the US, the price of a stick would skyrocket because of how much an american worker costs.

Actually, I read somewhere that graphite is somewhat more accessible in baja california (a part of mexico) and that is where many stick manufacturers, including Easton and Warrior, have set up shop. There are also golfing manufacturers in the same area, making golf club shafts.

Raw material is delivered from the USA. It doesn't come from Mexico! Labor in Mexico is $2-$4 per hour. That's why we're all there!
