msander 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2007 I also have not received my sticks yet, nor have I had anyone call to tell me they've been shipped out. I'm sure they'll arrive at some point. It would be interesting to discover who won the Stealth skates though.

whbd18 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2007 Well I got mine today, but its not what I asked for. I typed on the piece of paper that I wanted an 85 Flex LH Drury Grip and what I got was a 100 Flex Forsberg Grip. So if anyone asked for a Drury you might not get it, Im considering calling Easton to see if they are not sending out any Drury patterns.

Because now Im thinking they are only sending out Forsberg/Sakic Patterns, since no one that Im aware of has gotten anything different and I just want to give a heads up to other people who may not get what they ask for. Eazy_b97 1 Report post Posted February 16, 2007 LC, they've had a history of correcting mistakes like this in the past. It is about the kids, but it's not as if the stick is unknown and Easton did not advertise a stick in return. You're entitled to your opinion, but the fact they asked for all the information means they are willing to oblige. In years past they've asked for numerous curve, this season they didn't. This is the first year I know of them calling to double check patterns if needed. It certainly seems like Easton intends to get the participants what they requested so it seems like your comments are very off-base.

Eazy_b97 1 Report post Posted February 22, 2007 No I didnt. Did you get a 85 Flex though?Someone on the Easton board got a Drury though so Im wondering why we didnt. And its too late to send mine back anyway since I used it already.I recieved an 85 flex. I'm a little confused to all as of why I got a Fosberg. The lady called to confirm my order when I forget to put what hand, I would have thought she would ask about curve if the Drury wasn't available. I'd assume it was being run later than expected and they didn't want to wait any longer. Afterall Guru said he hoped to have the sticks to the participants by X-mas. That's just an assumption though, I have no clue, maybe it was just a mistake, maybe they ran out, who knows. I feel bad calling, but I can't use the Modano very well at all (at least I don't see logic in adapting to this curve when I have other sticks I like with curves I prefer) and I would feel bad trading or selling it since Guru warned against it. I'm hoping one of the other participants happened to get a Drury to try and doesn't like it. As you said the one poster just mentioned he got one, but I believe he said RH.
