Pro stock onepieces

Recommended Posts

Hello hockey friends.

I'm going to make a trip from sweden to Toronto here in a few weeks and asking for your help.

I'm going to by a lot of one piece sticks and actually i'm looking for sticks that are made for pro's without warranty. I will by from 36-72 sticks of senior size in both left and right hand.

Can you guys here give me some advice over what shops that have this type of sticks in stockso maybe i can call them before i go overseas.

Thanks for your help

:D :D :D

Try giving the Leafs Rink a ring if you can find the number, and ask if and where they sell their GI sticks.

Hi

Well guys i can see that you are a bit confused over the amount of sticks.

I'm not only buying for my own it's for a team in Sweden with boys 16-20 years old.The reason for buying this many sticks is simple the will cost us about double in sweden.

;)

you see Leifolsson, these guys just can't feel the pain of European hockey players...

Whenever I tell them about a European price, they just drop their jaws in disbelieve

You may have problems finding that many in one location. Just Hockey Source for Sports in Toronto always has some and would be a good place to contact.

yes, i have a few European friends who bought bought quite a lot of equipment while they were here. I think they said an Easton Synergy was about $500 CDN so they were trying to stock up.

The only question is "aren't the customs and taxes really high" when you try to get bring the stuff back across the border ?

A reg Synergy is about 230 USD here (that's the street price, retail is 290 USD), taxes included.

When I got three TFGs form the US, shipping costed me 27 USD and another 50 USD for taxes/tolls/postal handling fees. Overall, that makes about 25 USD per stick that you have to add to the US-price to get the real overall price.

Still a good deal, especially considering the TFGs were blowouts at 240 the threepack.

Wow That must really stuck, I thought that the sticks were really over priced here. I still think they are overpriced here, but that must really suck for you guys in Europe. You should just get guys here to buy you the stuff and ship it off, and then you can pay them back.

I do not purchase any equipment here anymore. My LHS is complete crap choice-, price- and service-wise. And the price issue is not only concerning OPS, it's the same with most other items... XX skates are retailing for 790 USD.

The only products that are cheaper compared to the US are Graf skates as they are made in our neighbor-country Switzerland and t'blades as they are a German product.

If worst comes to worst and you are not able to reach your goal for the amount of sticks, I am sure there are plenty of forum members willing to accept the exact price they pay for it here in North America and only charge for shipping. Should be a lot cheaper than the $290 retail price.

Just curious as to why just pro stock and why not retail?

Just curious. Why do you only want pro stock? It would probably be cheaper to buy retail because some prostock are considered authetic.

Pro stocks are ussually cheaper, unless you go to Hockey Town Authentics and stuff. Also, I guess he figures sending the stick back and getting another shipped will be a drag so easier to save money the go through the hassel.
