funny nbh doesnt just let him use a normal vapor xx or xxx, but i guess if kids se nazzy wearing the 500 dollar model over the 700 dollar one there going to want that one instead.

I was at the toyota sports center which is where the la kings and la lakers practice. they had those pro 0ne90's and all it is is the bauer 5000 with a one90 blue thing sewed on the sides.. nice skate tho...

I know Ray Whitney of the Hurricanes uses the real One90 because I just bought a pair of his skates from Wally Tatomir, their world class equipment guy. Seems Ray and I have feet that are very close in that his left skate is a 1/4 size bigger and that is the difference in size between my feet, left to right.

Not to get too far off topic, but can Pro stock One9o's be baked as the off the shelf versions?

Health South Training Center changed its name to Toyota Sports Center after HS went belly up. Toyota is a long time sponsor of the Kings and Lakers so it's not a surprise they put their name on the facility.

The pro shop sells some game used sticks, skates and gear. I too have seen those game used skates and they are definitely older Supremes dressed up w/ the NBH look. I couldn’t figure out who’s skates they are as that there was no name on the bottom like some of the other gamers for sale. I don’t think that are Frolov’s, as mentioned earlier his Supremes are dressed up too. I didn’t notice the prices. I’ll try and take a pic next time I’m there.

I just typed Markus Naslund in Getty. Usually theres always specific shots of his sticks and skates, I think I even saw one in the dressing room with all of his gear.

JR is you wanted a pair im sure i could help you out as long as you knew exactly what size your friend needed. Cant guarantee it but i can make a few phone calls to teams we supply that usually have no problem ordering custom items for us. Theres actually a few different types of these skates floating around. We just got in a couple pairs that looked pretty much like the 8090 skate but had the one90 ankle quarters and heel sewn in. Once the pro season is over im sure we'll be getting a ton of theses skates in as well.
