Article on hockey laces

I was thinking of switching to speckled black or plain white... can't decide so I'm sticking with speckled white.

A team mate of mine has baby blue laces...I think it looks gay and is not meant for a guy's skates on a hockey team. But than again..he is a bit "girlish".

I remember when Jagr was rockin' yellow laces in his Graf's. Personally I didn't like the look. Now I have 'em in my Pure Fly's and they look pretty sweet, IMO.

From what I've learnt from here, GRAF seem to be the best laces

I find Bauers to be very good as well. Close to the grafs in quality, don't think they have quite as much wax though.

i have camoflauge laces....there sweet....i dont like waxed laces because they freeze.....i have skatelocks on my vectors anyways

Bauer laces are Sportstape laces. They are not waxed.

The last Bauer laces I bought were waxed, and had fused tips. Great laces.

I see...the replacement laces. I was thinking the laces that come on the skates, those are never waxed from Bauer.

I lost a bet with our team Captain so I had to wear the pink laces. I hated them. They're really thin and they stretch when you try to tighten your laces. And they don't fit in the lacelock.

I have white laces or yellow laces. Though I think my RBK 9Ks would look sweet with black laces.

i have those exact same camo ones....they dont strech or nothin.....there really good laces

Anybody know anything you can do with old/used laces (and I mean ANYTHING)? I'm a goalie, and WAS considering using them for toe ties O.o...

I usually use new ones for this, but I have used old in the past, I take them and make a necklace and or anklet out of them. For the necklace I cut the lace to the desired size and the hold both ends and twist. As a kid I liked the idea becuase I always had a piece of hockey with me, and its just evolved into something I always do now. The yellow lace necklace I have on right now has been on for a bit over two years, I just got some black laces and will switch over to those sooner or later.
