Datsyukiandeek 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2007 The flex chart has a 340? A seller has a pair warrior dolo shafts 75 flexe fairly cheap on ebay and im interested. I tried to explain to him about looking under the end cap but he keeps relaying Inno's history and how they made sticks for Bauer. So were the 340s or 75 flex shafts a lower Inno shaft or where they the 1100?Thanks
LkptTiger 1 Report post Posted February 20, 2007 I'm slightly confused by your post, but yeah, 340 1100s were available. Personally, I found my 300 True-1s and 1100s to be closer to a 75 than the 80 indicated on the flex chart. If they're Warrior shafts, why does the Inno flex value matter? Am I missing something here? mack 44 Report post Posted February 20, 2007 They had some made for Hull as well as roller hockey specifically, those may be the models. Inno was pretty true with their sticks till they started selling the "Fedorov" shafts.

Datsyukiandeek 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2007 Thanks for the quick responces...Wanna see confused?Buyers question:Hi, can you pop open the top and look inside the shaft and tell me what it says? Because some dolomite stick are not actually dolomites, they were painted over with the dolomite pattern but they are actually bauer XX or another comparable. Thank you.Sellers responce:Well, all the sticks I have are retail sticks. They are all Warrior shafts. Warrior, DOES NOT sell other companies sticks at retail with their paint job on them. However, lets imagine that they approach a long time bauer stick user amd what him to switch to warrior. He agrees and is under contract but his pattern and stick is a custom pattern from bauer which they need to replicate. Rather than make their new star athlete wait 2 months for his custom sticks they take his current stick and re-paint it for him. Now, his team has an end of year over-stock equipment sale and sells off 5 dozen sticks to a pro shop or internet retailer. They then sell the sticks as pro stock sticks. This is the only way I have ever heard of this happening with warrior. Bauer/Nike has had some issues in the past with re-paints but not warrior. I owned a pro shop for 14 years and I never saw that.If I actually get the guy to look under the cap could he expect to find the 1100T2 number thats on the inside of my current dolo? The guy seems pretty deadset against doing this and I really don't want to spend that kind of cash on a two sticks I don't want.
mack 44 Report post Posted February 20, 2007 Buy the sticks or don't buy the sticks. Seriously, this bullcrap that's happened with the pro stock OPS is making everyone go paranoid. If these are retail shafts, that's what they are.

Rather than put 1100 on them, they put "Fedorov" on them and to this day no one can tell what's under the paint job.
Eazy_b97 1 Report post Posted February 21, 2007 The first part of the code is Warrior Dolomite, looks like the second part is the shaft shape as Inno's used to have different versions. Warrior does not though, and this may be a way for them to tell which mold for prostocks (just a guess). Also I second Mack's motion about the paranoia surrounding Warrior's products. We've seen that a certain run of Prostocks have the code issue. However it's just for the OPS and there are some telling signs. 1. The blade. I have yet to see any "fake" codes with a checkerboard blade. 2. Grip. I haven't seen a single grip version of the re-painted sticks3. The patterns are limited. Hossa, Fedorov, Hamerlik, Niedermayer, Kovalev, Sourray, Chara, Schaefer are the main ones I have seen for lefties. If you want to check an OPS, go right ahead, but only check the ones that need it. Nobody is going to be selling a Andrew Peters "fake" warrior, nobody will be selling a grip warrior that is fake either. There is no need to worry about shafts, and it appears to be no worry for any OPS with checkerboard blades.
