What is lie of a Bauer Roenick Clone

Recommended Posts

Ok so far I know there are two curves out there. One is a Darbyish and the other is the PM29...

So what does the Bauer PM29 curve look like? I'm at EWH but they don't have much info. Also if anyone here knows the lie of TPS' P27(Darby) and P31(Styles) it would be very much appreciated!

So i'm guessing the "Roenick Clone" Bauer PM29 curve from EastWestHockey is nowhere close to a Darby pro?

Roenick and Darby aren't close at all.

Sorry for more questions but I found pics of the Darby (P27) but couldn't find pics of the Styles (P31). Are they more or less the same curve?

Bauer's retail Roenick clone is a mid-wedge kind of curve. Cavs is patiently waiting his to get in, but it's mid-ish with more of a wedge than a sloping/smoother curve.

Alright. Through the power of the search engine I have found pics of the p31 (Styles) curve as well. From looking at the pics it looks like I can work with either two patterns. The problem is the angle of which the blades are photographed. Which of the two (P27, P31) has more loft? I don't mind a little bit just as long as the loft is isn't of Drury proportions.

Tell me about it, I haven't gotten a sniff from the USPS on my claim so I'm putting all the bells and whistles on for this shipment.

Excellent.....I'm hoping that hollow hosel will make my sticks really blade light. And do the bells and whistles refer to getting the second batch to you or getting them to me?

Oh these ones are coming here, but I meant when I send them to you. I checked the status and they should be in this afternoon *knock on wood* and out tomorrow.

ive got the p29's from ew. its a drury, same lie and everything - just less open. to look at it from the side you would think its a drury, same rocker. about half as open as the drury, maybe less.

I recieved 3 Roenick clones from EastWestHockey. It matches up very well with the Drury. However it appears the open portion of the blade starts more towards the mid-toe area thatn the heel like the Drury. Ill have it on the ice for the first time tonight so we will see if it handles the same.
