So, if the Islanders hadn't been so poorly managed (i.e. had never hired Mike Milbury) - the core of their current roster could include... Wade Redden, Jason Spezza, Dany Heatley, and Zdeno Chara?... Thank you, New York Islanders! Maybe in the summer, they'll trade us Jason Blake for half a bottle of cleaning solution for someone's visor!

Not that the Sens haven't made a few dumb moves, though - When they drafted Alexandre Daigle, they could have had Paul Kariya or Chris Pronger... or Saku Koivu, or Todd Bertuzzi for that matter... pretty much everyone else picked in the first round of that draft would have been better... or Ryan Smyth instead of Radek Bonk.

With Jagr, its a difficult situation. He is so up and down with his play it is really a love-hate relationship with most of the fans. I kind of hope he retires after his contract is up so that some of the guys in Hartford will get a shot.
