The place on Hwy 55 near 101 is called Score Sports now and they have alot of gear packed into that little building!

Go Pios...your name doesn't happen to be Fritz Ta...or does it?

Just curious. He's helped me out several times.

Amazing that Holy Angels and Moorhead get knocked off before making it to the state tourney. Holy Angels is talented, but maybe were more so with Barribal, Erik Johnson, Frazee and Carman. I think Okposo played at Shattuck St Mary which also featured Sidney Crosby.

Well I went to Edina so I'm rooting for them!

Terrible place to ask it, but does anyone know any LHS that carries the Sherwood 5030 shoulders? Any other cool LHS' to check out around here? Westwood does my sharpening, but I keep finding great deals on sticks/blades/shafts at General Sports in Edina.

If all you MSH'ers stop by the StickFix Booth, I'll hook you up with some goodies...

We're going to be giving away some Tacki Mac Grips, Karakal Grip Tape, and a few T-Shirts.

See you there!

Are you the one that drives around in that black stick fix pick up truck??

They made some very nice custom gloves for the Holy Angels boys as well.

I know it must be tough to compete with the big companies, but thanks for keeping a tradition alive.

Nah, the guy that works the north side of the cities drives that truck.

What did GoPios do for Warroad and Holy Angels? Someone fill me in? Im now watching the Warroad/Hermantown game. Looks like the Warriors are rolling them pretty good.

The whole Warroad team has Christian gloves, and many of them are using Torch sticks.

Ouch. Sounds like Warroad has had two instant replays go against them. Hopefully I'll get home in time to see the end of the game.

Was there earlier. Nothing "out of this world". Warrior had a full barber shop setup in their booth and were giving free "mullet" haircuts or mohawks...

Almost every LHS booth had RBK 9k O-Tech sticks. Selling for $250.

Nike Bauer had XXXXs in every size imaginable but only to try on. Too bad, because I brought my wallet and would of dropped cash for a pair on the spot...For some reason they feel heavier than my current XXXs though. Maybe I was just expecting them to be nearly as light as the One90s.

Definately gonna order a pair of twill Christian torch gloves after trying them on at their booth.

Only had about 45 minutes to look around. I had come right from work and was in my scrubs so I was in and out pretty quick so I could get home to watch the gopher game.

I went up there today after watching the Woodbury vs. Hill-Murray game.

My friend bought the NBH Vapor XXXX's for #550. I tried a pair on myself and they are the lightest skates I've ever tried on, but Easton has the new Stealth skates which are supposed to be lighter.

Really? Not sure who you talked to, because the reps are supposed to bring you to an LHS booth and sell them. We ended up selling about 10 pair today.

Misc. unsolicited thoughts:

- Thoroughly underwhelmed by the Vector (pretty much a CCM version of the RBK 8K) and Cascade helmets.

- Tackla (Montreal) has pretty much given up selling equipment in MN apparently.

- Warrior sure is trying hard.

- RBK 9K elbow pads are nice. 9K Pants are heavy. Not impressed with that lame-ass O stick. That's going nowhere.

- Both Mia and Eagle booths were very helpful though I wish Eagle had more models on display. The new X72 fits slimmer than the X70 (that's a good thing). I especially liked the Mia rep's comments about Wes Walz's insane obsession with his equipment.

- I sure wish all the big manufacturers brought E width's with them for trying on.

- Maybe it's the engineerd in me but I really enjoyed listening to the factory guys talk about their equipment. Things like Crosby has plastic in his 9k skates instead of carbon fiber b/c the CF is too stiff. I'm not sure I'm totally buying this who can make the stiffest lightest skate contest.

- Interesting news from the Bauer booth (although I'm sure some of you already know) apparently at next year's show they'll have a lighter than Titanium (but not Titanium) cage with narrow wires than Itech's that they're currently working on.

- Lastly, those ice cream bars were soooo tasty.

--EDIT - I would have liked to demo the Easton Booth Babes. (better?)

Mike, did you take a stroll through Eastons booth? Figured the Vancouver girls would have made the "thoughts" list.

The "Dog Tag Girls" walked past our booth several times on both days. I want to send a Thank You to who ever designed those Gopher shirts they were wearing!

WE had several of you guys stop by for the goodies. Thanks for the conversations!

We had a great time, just like last year.

I heard rumors at the show that Warrior was giving 6 sticks and a pair of skates to any girl that shaved their head at their "barber shop".

Did anyone take them up on that and whats up with Warrior skates? Did they have anything on display for that. I never got a chance to look around their booth?
