Illegal here in CT too, but every year there's this huge firework show that everyone from my town is at (town does it). We're not allowed to have anything that shoots off the ground, so only fountains really.

When we go to florida, we go to this huge warehouse(seriously the size of a toyrus) and buy hundreds of dollars worth of stuff. This year they spent like $250, but we got alot of stuff. My uncle works in the city, so he gave us some of the stuff he confiscated. We got a couple 3-inch mortars to light up the sky with :D

One of my best friends from high school spent $500 on stuff from the one factory warehouse. He also has a half keg of beer and a bunch of liquor. I'm not going anywhere near him tomorrow. Rednecks, booze and explosives just don't mix.

My buddy's birthday is the 3rd (today), so for his birthday and the 4th his dad buys him about $2,000 dollars worth of fireworks and provides a whole show for the neighborhood. Him and i started a bit early and went out tonight to play with some stuff. Started a couple fires in the brush ( whoops) and my damn long "hockey hair" had a strand catch on fire too. Fun stuff though, we get the real ones that go up and explode BIG in the sky, great time.

Yeah fireworks are illegal here in Iowa too. Although all it takes is a trip to Missouri or Wisconsin to pick some up and bring them back. We make firework runs everyonce and a while.

Last night I went to the annual Blues fest and there the city had spent 40k on fireworks and had a huge show that lasted atleast 30 minutes. Then I went and listened to a Muddy Waters tribute band :)

It was an awesome night. Happy 4th of July everyone!

The only fireworks I know how to remotely make are those sparkler bomb things, but I haven't ever gotten them to work. They always go Fwoosh instead of boom.

I know how to make fireworks, but its a preatty long process and you have to know quite abit about model rocket engines and gun powder not to mention some other things. I might be able to dig up some of my old plans for stuff, but I wouldn't reccomend trying them.

Yeah, I'm going to have to pass. Im not real skilled in science, but I will study harder next year. After that you can give me the plans for next 4th of July. After we make them we could sell them. You could get quite a bit of money here.

Fireworks are legal here in Toronto, you can go to any convience store and buy them, pretty fun stuff. I put a goalie mask, some goggles on a buddy of mine and shot them at him, then my 11 year old borther chases him downa dn shoot him in the groin and rips a whole throigh his gray school pants, his only pair. Being the hick that he is he too ductape and patched the hole up, lukcily he wans`t burned. It was fun casue we did in broad day light on goverment property, being the genuises we all are.
