ovechkin visor from the all star game?

Yeah my mirrored sheild is a mess, its relly scratched up. I do not believe there are hockey players who would use this shield for them to spoil their "claims". I would buy one though, no doubt its a nice shield.

of course there's a REALLY high markup. But Oakley claims it's because of the iridium lenses that drives the costs(we all know that's a load of bull). I doubt that they are banking on loosing that selling pitch to gain a few sales of the "ovechkin visor." I, of course could be wrong, but I'll believe it when I see it. Plus iridium lenses scratch really easily, I at least hope that they'd coat the lenses in something to keep them from scratching to avoid the "After one ice time my ovie half shield is all scratched up" threads.

:D Very true. They use the AFR on the football shields that seem to hold up to scratches and fog well....but we know that they are inside the cage...vs outside like a hockey shield.

They should put the iradium "film" inside of the visor not on the outside.

but i think that the film needs to be on both sides to keep the extra strength the iridium provides. *shrug*

P.S. I know nothing about football shields, I never used one when I played and wasn't a gear whore like I am with hockey. :P

That might be one of the one's he used, but it isn't the one from the all-star game because it was blue and was oakley not itech. Still good find. Here's one on ebay for football Here
