cougarscaptain87 12 Report post Posted March 18, 2007 I am currently skating in 9k pumps size 9E. i have tried just about every skate on and i still cant seem to find the one that is wide enough. in my 9k's the left skate feels PERFECT toes brushing the front while standing, nice and snug, perfect fit in my opinion. but the right one is not wide enough in the forefoot, and the arch is hurtin. right when i put the skate on it feels a touch tight but nothing too bad, first 20-30 mins the pressure seems to mount, and then after that it is at a consistant. without goin the cutsom route, is there any options to correct the skate, or is there another skate that fits wider? i did search and came up with nothing Thanks in advance-CC87 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

cougarscaptain87 12 Report post Posted March 18, 2007 JR, you put me in KORS! but for my foot, i personaly decided on getting the rbks becuase of initial comfort, i wore them a good 30 minutes before even considering purchasing them. i was thinking about getting just the right streched, has anyone done that?by the way, i wasnt going to buy new skates, i was just wondering. also the pain is not intolerable (sp?) its just annoying and would be nice to not have it. The skate out of the box and for the first few weeks was amazing, most comfortable skate ive been in and also possibly the lightest. but then after that first week something happened and the skates started to brusie my ankle, after 2-3 of the "brusing" it was intolerable to skate and i had to take a week off and go back to my old skates, nothing wrong with the skates i dont think, just not for me apparently. Even with the low cut, I didn't lace up to the top and the top eyelet/boot open cut & bruised right above my ankle bone something fierce - again, likely my fault. MNWildGopherFan 0 Report post Posted March 19, 2007 I also have a wide forefoot and had a tough time finding a skate that would fit comfortably. A LHR in my area had in stock a pair of Easton 1500c skates in the wide width in my size, and he said they had worked well for others with a wide forefoot and suggested I try then on. They felt great on my foot, and I have now skated on them in 5 games and they were comfortable right from the start. I got the 1300c's for dirt cheap brand new on eBay with some crazy luck; even though mine (1300c) aren't heat moldable, the 1500c's are, and they fit a variety of feet, so make that two for the Easton Synergy's. My forefoot is pretty wide and after trying several brands, I was fitted with Easton 800c's, which are heat moldable too. They've fit me better than any I've tried to date.
