What happened to this guy, i remember when he played for Boston, he was fan favorite here because of fights like

havent heard the name in a while and i was searching youtube and found some of these stock fights and i remembered how badly i used to want one of those shirts that said pj stock crew on the front with 42 "ASS KICKER" on the back

I think he ended up getting a broken cheek/orbital bone and a concussion all in one. He retired because of the lingering effects of the head injury.

Looks like he last played for the Phantoms in the A back in 03-04. I liked him when he was with the Rangers. Small guy, but wasnt afraid to take anybody on.

5 foot 10 and didn't hesitate to drop em with a guy that was 6 foot 5. Stock had some serious balls.

He works in Montreal in Radio now. He hosts a weekday talk show and a Canadiens pregame show on Team 990.

I met PJ when he was with the Wolfpack- funny guy. No way was he 5'10" though. I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did in the show. He had a difficult job for a guy his size, but he was always a gamer. Like a prior poster said, he had some pretty significant head/facial injuries and I believe he was sent to Providence and loaned to the Phantoms before retiring. I’m not sure how the radio show is in Montreal, but the AHL games I've seen him do color on were brutal.That was early on, I'm assuming he's more polished now?

He was blogging with Eklund for a while. I'd read PJ's stuff but never Eklund's. PJ has personality, hopefully the broadcasting thing works out for him.

It's funny that you talk about him now because he appeared yesterday on a popular show in Quebec where a bunch of journalists argue about the habs. He really didn't look like a fighter to me.

It was actually an injury to one of his eyes that ended his career, most likely during a fight.
