so which brand is more popular with the pros...(NHL)I know in the early years of ops in the NHL everyone was using the synergy stick, but know Comp. has got tougher... So what do you guys think...

EASTON

WARRIOR

TPS

RBK

BAUER

E.T.C

Easton by far.

I'd say after that bauer, ccm, rbk and warrior are pretty close. Warrior might be behind ccm and bauer though(unless we are grouping THC together). And TPS is probably slightly behind warrior.

I'd say:

Easton

CCM

Bauer

Warrior

TPS

RBK

but that's just a guess. The response lite has gotten a pretty big following. One tricky thing is the sickick, because probably half of them are vectors.

Wasnt there just recently an article on nhl.com about this? I believe it said Easton, followed by Warrior.

Zach

I think I saw that too.

Watch an Avs game and count how many aren't using a stealth. Last time I watched a game everytime they'd show a bench shot you'd see maybe one or two players that weren't using one. Easton dominates, look how many STs, SLs, Stealths and SEs there are in the NHL.

I think bauer is starting to lose people with the XXXlite, I really don't see a lot of them like I used to. On the other hand, one90 numbers seem to be growing. Warrior doesn't seem to be getting any bigger but they certainly have a large share of sticks being used in the NHL.

Hey about that, alot of teams are diffrent like for example the avalanche players all use easton for the most part...but the canadiens only 3 players play with easton sticks...so I think it goes by team... and some players are not what we call loyal, some players changes stciks all season long...doesent mate wich brand... like gonchar was using the sl then se and when I watch them against the rangers this week, he was using a warrior

Savard with the B's has been all over the board switching from Warrior Mac Daddy Grip to Mac Daddy to One90 to Warrior to One90 to Warrior, and back and forth and back and forth....

...as with Marco Sturm. He was all over the place for a short time.. Easton SL, Warrior Mac Daddy, back to his Easton UL's, until finally settling for the Warrior AK

Some players even switch during a game depending on the situation. I was watching the pens the other day and im pretty sure i saw malkin using a XXXlite but then when they were on a power play he had a One90

probably because the One 90 is advertised a stronger stick for slapshots and he would be taker more shots from far out on the powerplay and more finnese when not on it, hence the lighter xxx.

Tim Taylor started with a sickick and now hes using a response lite. Paul Ranger was using a 10.0 went to a v130 and then was using a response lite before he got injured.

It's kind of hard to go by something other than your team because you're used to seeing them and how many of your players use what kind of stick.

I noticed that when Zach Parise switched between his SL and SE in the middle of the game.

Peter Scheafer switched to a one90 after breaking his warrior last saturday night, it looked like he was back using warrior's lastnight though.

For the Flyers - Mike Richards, Jeff Carter, RJ Umberger, Ben Eager and Simon Gagne all use XXXlites. Funny thing, except for Gags, the sticks don't seem to be helping any of the others game at all. <_<

I remember watching a Flames game, and Langkow broke 3 Vapor XXX's in one period, then the next period he started to use one90s, even the announcers noticed.
