closest curve to iginla?

Recommended Posts

I am thinking of buying a couple of xn10s or a response +, and I really like the iginla curve on my si-cores and synergys. So I am wondering the messier or nash closer to the iginla? Thanks.

brendl is close to the yzerman, Messier is close to the iginla. I like it a little more because it doesnt have that hideous blade profile that ruins the Iginla from being a remotely decent curve.

The Iginla curve profile is not all bad. The sakic curve has the bad profile in my eyes.(ex-that huge rocker on the blade)

I think sakic has the best blade profile. That is why PP is PP. :D

The new Messiers are not very close to the Iginlas. The closest that I can think of in Louisville composite patterns is the Brendl.

Brendl is a huge hook.

I know that, but when you look at the two patterns the Brendl looks the closest. The Brendl pattern is just more curvy than the Inginla.

The Brendl reminds me of the Sherwood Coffey, but some I've seen that are like Yzermans, and sum like Coffey, either way they're both big hooks.

when it comes to comparing huge curves I don't even look at the subtle differences. A friggin hook is a friggin hook. Yzerman=Thornton=Shanahan=Brendl=Coffey.

I was wondering the same question when I got my XN10, because I had been using the Si- Core (Iginla curve) for ever. I went with the Brendl and used it for a week or two. I hated it and went right back to si-cores. The 2 blades have nothing in common. I would deffinately stay away from the Brendl if you really liked the Iginla curve. I couldn't do a thing with the stick. It was the only stick (curve) ever that I havn't gotten a point with. But you might like it.

A friend of mine has tps wood stick, and its a nash curve, and it seemed pretty nice when I was shooting with it today. Composite is the same as wood right? If so I think I am gonna get a nash, it seemed so close to my iginla.

i've never considered the shanahan to be a hook. its not that big of a curve in my opinion

i have both curves. i can tell you the iginla is very similar to the messier. too bad synthesis's werent better. then i wouldnt have synergies with yellow blades.

i just picked up a wooden iginla blade today, and i compared it to my sakic n its relatively the same curve, just a tad less with a tad less loft...so i'm gonna say maybe the nash? i'm not sure if they have the same lies tho
