does anybody know the lies on these blades? the image is from hockeymonkey, but the accompanying information conflicts with things i've read here and elsewhere. i've used the search and couldn't find anything definitive. anybody know?

Rbk doesn't list lies. I called them on this before and they said they don't list them.

I use the P38/Datsyuk and it is about a 6. From what I've heard the Modano is a 5, just like it was with Easton. The others I have no clue.

Modano is definitely a 5. Word on the street is that the Crosby may be a replacement for the modano, but I haven't seen that confirmed anywhere. It looks pretty close.

yes, and Bergeron replaces Amonte.

Chippa, I've got 2 6k modano blades, as well as an easton forsberg, tps tkachuk, 2 NBH PM9s, and a warrior fedorov. the lies are identical, except the warrior, which is about 1/4 lower than the rest, if that much.

it would make a lot of sense, cause I doubt RBK will sale the exact replica of Crosby's stick, since the blade is almost straight!

I've got most of those as well and trust me, the Modanos have a higher lie.

man that sucks. i'd love for them to have a drury clone and be done with it. i can't do anything higher than a 5.5, it feels awkward to me. thanks for the replies everyone.

chippa and DL what scale are you guys going by on lie?

I typically use Easton's as the standard but confusion can be had if you use CCM's or whoevers... I know none of us are dumb enough to use warrior's.

Whats Bergeron's curve for Easton?

Closest would have been Yzerman, then Gaborik. But both are now discontinued. (except for some Yzerman hybrids or something like that)

Try Thornton in CCM and Afinogenov (used to be Sundin) in TPS.

I always compare mine directly to eastons. Also, they're cut to the same length and get similar tape wear. We'll have to agree to disagree.

From my experience, Warrior Smyth is pretty close too.

The picture for Modano and Datsyuk are mixed up

No they aren't.

yeah they are...compare this pic with the official one from RBK at the top. Modano is barely curved at all, and the Datsyuk is very curved.
