Vector 8.0 shaft

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I have an opportunity to get one at a good price. I haven't really seen any around in leagues or stores. Does anyone use it. What do you think?? All I know is that it felt pretty damn good in my hands.

Thanks in advance

I have the new 8.0 OPS, It's not amazing but it's a good stick. It's worth the money, it's basically a more durable v130.

I think moreso gimmick, I never played with a v130 so I couldn't give you an accurate comparison... BUT it feels better than the v120, which I liked inspite of the blade. The grip is MUCH better than that line of vectors which kind of sucks if you don't like a grip coating ( :( ). I would say that for a stick that's not top-end you're not going to find much better.

The blade leaves something to be desired, in my opinion. It's a little soft for my liking although I wouldn't consider it soft. It's just not as stiff of a blade as my xn10, slightly less stiff than my response lite's blade.

bringing this topic up to see if anyone has this shaft. it comes extra long which i like. im using dolomite blades right now and im curious if they would fit in this shaft. feel? durability? good boom stick?

im confused, the 8.0 is tapered or not? i thought in the catalog it was tapered, but on hockey monkey its the 10.0 thats tapered. im looking for the ccm tapered shaft, and my question to about the warrior blade fitting is in reference to that.

Tapered. I've got last year's, haven't had a chance to use it yet though. (backup stick)
