One 70s vs XXv's

Recommended Posts

I grew out of my supreme 6000 and have narrowed my choices down to these two. I have a wide foot but fit fin into the 6000s. I am basically looking for the same thing, which would suit me better? Also want to hear anyones experiences with either.

Supreme 70*

Gloves and skates limit the "one" prefix only for the Supreme one90.

Sticks and protective use the "one" for the entire series.

they are made off of 2 different lasts, i dont know 100% about the supreme 70, but i do know that the supreme one90 is made off an e last which would lead me to believe that the supreme 70 is as well, where the vapors are made off of a d last, thus proving that the supreme 70 is wider then the vapor. they also have different heel shapes, and different arch support. so im gonna tell you what everyone says, go and try many skates on and see what fits you the best.

From what I have heard from narrow to wider fitting:

one90 => Last years vapor => this years vapor => Supreme 30/50/70

The difference isn't huge and it's not all around wider fits but just an overall wider fit. If that makes sense.

the one90 is wider than the vapor from last year. Most guys fit into a c width from d vapors. I found the toe box to be huge on them when i was lookin at them

you see I couldn't tell you because with either last year's vapor or the one90 I couldn't get it on my foot for more than a couple seconds before I had to take it off, waaay too narrow. My foot is wider in the toe area and just slightly below the toe area, then it gets narrow.

But the 70s don't come in a EE unless you custom though, do they? Meaning the 70s E would basically be a vapor EE. In which case the vapor is wider.

No.

Supreme 70 comes in D/EE, so does Vapor.

However, the Supreme 70 last is wider, so regardless of what width it is, it's always going to be wider than its Vapor counterpart.
