Better jock

Recommended Posts

As many of you have probably read about Chadd's "I Feel Shame" thread, I took a pretty vicious chop to the junk a few days ago. Now I'm destined to get a better jock. Right now I have the Muskoka one, which I always thought was good, but the cup was no where in site when I needed it. The problem with that jock is that the cup floats around the front too much and it shifts a lot. It never gives great coverage, only minimal coverage most of the time. The front is covered, but underneath is left completely open. So I need one that will stay in place more and cover more region. I could always go back to an old school regular cup, and I'm willing to do that, but I'd prefer to find a all in one combo. Thanks guys.

I'm a big fan of the old school jack and guarder belt. Always felt more comfy and secure. The one I have pushes the jock up against your body to hold it in place.

I know a guy who used to be a goalie and he uses a goalie jock when he skates out. He doesn't seem to have any mobility problems, and I believe the frontal protection on them may be better than regular player jocks. Not sure about protection underneath, and they do cost a bit more, but what price can you put on your 'nads?

http://www.t3kwear.com

It's Simeon Rice's (from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers) clothing line.

They make a quality product. The jock is triple stitched in all the seams. A few guys who used to work at WSI are now there.

WSI was notorious for rips. This stuff is much better and not as thick as the Muskoka jock.

which one do you use, htere site has both a loose and tight fit jock. Man I live in tampa and didnt know that he had a line for sport wear. I know he has some other things that he does but hey guess if you got money its alot easier to start things up!

Tight. We didn't carry the loose.

We've sold the hell out of them.

One feature that I like is the velcro tabs - most companies have the entire flap made of Velcro...the T3k one is jersey mesh and has a small strip of fuzzy velcro.

I'm going to order a long jock actually.

Anyone seen the new hockey jock made by shock doctor? It looks really nice. I have yet to see one in a store though...

Does it come with a $30,000 insurence if your balls gets smashed in?

the new shock doctor jocks look really nice. i had a demo one in my store for a while. i never wore it, but the stiching looked great. funny thing about it too,the cup can be heat molded. at least that's what i was told.

www.shockdr.com will show you the jock.

I'm not a fan of compression jocks, that's just a personal opinion, but that shock doctor cup, the actual cup, not jock, looks real nice. I havent had problems gettting hit there anyway, but i think it's real nice.

Right now I use the regular Itech Jock Plus(yellow), it's nice, and easy, but the velcro seems to unstich quite a bit, that's my only complaint.

JR, I'll take a look into the ones you suggested, they sound nice.
