WARRIOR SUPER MAC DADDY OR EAGLE X72?(finally eagle x72, PICS!)

Recommended Posts

The Super Mac Daddies are hella comfy. And less bulky IMO.

The Eagles never were a real favourite of mine due to the bulkiness of the glove. But really, it boils down to a nice warm cup of personal preference.

I actually found the warriors to feel more bulky than eagles. The fit is also different, the wrist area is a tighter than the eagles and then the cuff opens up. It kinda gives you the feel of a tight glove but with a looser fit.

Personally, I'd go with the eagles, but the Warrior gloves are impressive.

id go with the mac daddies because they have a "badass tribal palm". lol
i cant believe warrior actually put "tribal palm" in as a selling point. ridiculous...

that's all they do, they rely heavily on marketing... But with that being said, their gloves were very impressive, their sticks... not soo much.

The palm felt similar to the one90/vapor XX palm. I'd have to assume that the durability would be similar.

The gloves did feel a little bulkier than my eagles(X-50) but no more bulky than the NBH SDP(4-roll) or something like a TPS HGT. The regular mac daddys felt a little more bulky than the super macs but both felt smooth like butter. The palm allowed for some airflow, which was nice. It's really a nice glove.

I'd definitely pick the Super Mac Daddys over MIAs, so that tells you that the quality is worth the money. Now if MIAs were the same price as the Warriors, I'd have trouble choosing. Bottomline, if you like the fit of the warriors(nothing really comparable that I can think of) then you won't be disappointed.

And that is coming from someone that has been very anti-warrior over the past few months.

To my amazement, i found that the Royale gloves felt worlds better than the Super Mac Daddy gloves. Furthermore, the Super Mac Daddy gloves can be beat (imo) by the Mission Fuel 120, RBK 9k and Miskoska (or however you spell it). Their sticks have very unusual lies such as a 4? the robatille curve was my favorite, but the sticks seemed kind of strange feeling.

-my 2 cents

Mia gloves are made by two former employees of Eagle. the palms seem weak as paper though. i feel like i would put holes in the palms in about 1 month max.

2 more cents.........

where u at on this sal?

I have never been a huge fan of Eagle gloves but I love the new X72s. I need to call my rep and beat him up to get me a custom pair.

Mikelius good luck with those gloves! They're very nice btw. I use x70s and couldn't be happier. I love the open cuff on the Eagle gloves. My x70s are getting kind of beat up though and the palms are getting holy. I like the x72 but do they only come in carbon? All the pics I've seen of them has the carbon material. If you customize them is it possible to do tufftek or a combo of both?
