why not???

sorry I don´t understand your reply???

My question was obviously a One90 10,5 has the same size like a Vapor XXXX

.... or is the Vapor XXXX bigger/smaller ..

One90 10,5 = Vapor XXXX 10,5

One90 10,5 = Vapor XXXX 10,0

One90 10,5 = Vapor XXXX 11,0

They fit differently, in terms of width and volume. You must have the correct foot shape to fit in a skate, and those two skates are for two different types of feet.

What he is saying is that the 2 skates fit differently. From my understanding, the Vapor line of skates is more narrow than the supreme line. If you fit into the One90 in EE(wide) than there is no way you can fit correctly into the Vapor XXXX, as cougarscaptain87 stated.

Also it wouldnt make sense for one company to make two different skates that fit the exact same way, just with different looks. Think about it, its common sense.

That changed with the One 90's. I recenlty just bought 10 EE XXXX's and tried ont he same size in the one 90's. They were way to skinny. It mad them very uncomfortable.

OK, you said that you felt that they were a little bit to skinny

... but could we say that size is the same??? that means,

has the vapor the same length as the one90 skate??

thx greg

jr, cheesehead, and barrett pretty much told you the difference. the one90 is a skate with a narrow fit and the vapor XXXX's have a wider fit. the best way to find out what size skate fits you is to try a pair on

It's hard to judge because of the new toe cap , because it is allowing alot of buyers to fit ito a smaller skate. You are goingto have to try tem on if possible to see.

are you sure about that. barrett just said he tried on a pair of vapor XXXX EE and they fit, but he tried on a one90 EE and they where too narrow. so im pretty sure that the vapor XXXX's are for a wider foot and the one90's are for a skinnier foot

The One90's have a boot that has " zero negative space" between the boot and the foot. The skate might feel tighter because you are feeling all of the boot up against the foot as opposed to a Vapor where the boot fits more up and down the sides of your foot

Vapor XXXX don't fit like the older models.

which would be more similar to the fit of an 8090? 2 months ago I was able to try on a One90 and it felt quite good just standing there although a little snug, and I wear a 7.5EE in supreme 8090s, haven't had the opportunity to get into a XXXX yet.

I wore an 8.5 EE 80-90 and found the One 90 EE to snug but the XXXX EE fit just fine.

Are you serious? Can someone back this one? Because that would be pretty rad, tho, due depth and volume i dont think (but hope) its possible.

Yeah I actually am. I had to change the legnth because my foot grew alot. But in all honesty they fit perfect. What are you wondering about ? Why would you think this is not possible?

Im not saying that you are not telling the truth, it just amazes me! Its actually because the Vapor series would tend to fit like the old Supreme series (width, volume and stuff) and that would be like partytime for my feet.

Ok , so wat you really meant is that you were glad because of the similar fits. I thought you were saying the two had different fits and found it hard to believe they both fit.

Hope it's okay to piggyback on this thread. Saw a pair of One90s on clearance at store nearby, so I'm going the opposite from Vapor to One90 I guess. I thought I found the right size but it was much too shallow. My foot failed the pencil test from the 3rd eyelet all the way to the 3rd last eyelet. So I bumped up one size and got a skate where my foot just barely passed the pencil test on the 3rd eyelet (from the top).

What gives? Are these not for me? The heel still felt okay after going up a size but I had noticeably more room up front.

I guess it depends on what "vapor" you are speaking of. The One90 is a shallower boot that both the XXXX and the XXX. What may be apparent is that you can no longer compare lines of skates like you used to. Almost every skate today has enough variance in the last to change the overall fit of the boot. Take for instance the difference in the Supreme One90 vs One70...two very different boots. I can from personal experience state the difference in the XXX from the XXXX with the change in the toe cap. I was never comfortable in the XXX but the XXXX fits perfectly without baking for me. You are doing the smart thing by trying them on. If you feel there is too much room up front, try the next obvious thing: pencil test half-size down on the One90. I will always go into trying a skate by going half sizes up and down to see the difference in feel. So when I tried on the XXXX size 9, they felt great, but I still tried on the 8.5 and 9.5 to feel the difference. It goes a long way to be thorough to ensure the proper fit.

So my question is what `Type of Fit` the Nike Flexlite 12 is more Vapor or Supreme. I think it´s going to be more Supreme like?

Thanks for your answers and to all of ya

I tried the Supreme 50's and the Vapor XXll's on in the LHS. The Supremes felt a lot slimmer and tighter on my feet. The Vapors are definitely a wider boot with more space at the toe cap and a much better fit for me. Coming from an Easton or CCM skate it makes more sense to go with the Vapor line.
