The one 90 felt much narrower to me. But i like the fit of the xxxx better. I have a wider foot than most and got the s15's. Try them on at your LHS before you buy.

they both come in different widths so you could possibly find both the fit, but the vapors D width is narrowor than the One90's D with. id reccomend going to a repituable shop and have someone measure your legnth, width, and test the depth of the boot for your foot and see which one fits more snugly, yet comfortably.

You might want to look at the one90 in a C width.

yah if you have a very narrow foot i would try the one90's but i would also try on a pair of XXXX because you never know until you tried both pairs on. just go with what ever skate fits your foot the best

CCM is slightly wider than the old Vapors but I found them narrower than the new Vapors. The one90s were waaay too narrow for me.

BTW, I have a narrow heel and wider toe area. My foot is shaped like an up-side-down triangle.

Wow...that's scary...so is mine. Vapor XXXX fits best for our retarded feet! :P

I have the upside down triangle too!!

So what skate fit you guy's best? (Vapors I take it?)

I've been skating in CCM Vector 7D 10.0's, but my pinkie and big toe rub just alittle bit to much inside the boot.

my feet were too wide for vectors. The tacks felt fine but the heel was a bit too wide. I recall hearing there was a graf skate that has the perfect fit for the upsidedown triangle foot but I forget the model number. The old Vapors didn't fit at all but the new ones fit as good as anything I've ever had(minus my old tacks goalie skates). I was considering getting the 9Ks but the heel is wider than the tacks so I would have needed a custom job.

I'd try a new vapor, the wider toe cap is much wider than the old vapors and the vectors. But remember if you do buy, check the holders and make sure they are straight.

So the XX/XXX lines aren't a good fit for us. but the new XXXX line is?

What about Eastons, are they too wide?

It's bearable (the rubbing on the toes) so I just might stick with vectors, or maybe the new Kor skate, if it ever comes out.

The graf model your thinking about is 703 if I recall correctly.

Wow , all the CCM's i have tried were too narrow for my wide forefoot and small heel.....more narrow than anything else i tried on including my XXX's.

I guess it's time for customs. :P

Well, at least for me that is the case. I literally stood up in the XXX and sat right back down. It just killed my feet. I wasn't even going to bother trying the XXXX but I walked into my LHS and my sharpener stopped me and told me I had to try them on. I declined thinking the skate was the same fit but he let me know that they were wider than the previous vapors. I tried them on and they fit perfect. After skating on them about 6 times or so they feel a ton better than my tacks. They might be a hair too small in the toe area, but it's only by a little bit... something that can be solved by a stretching or punching. I haven't been able to try the eastons but I was certainly considering them. There's only one shop around here that carries Easton and it's not "my" shop AND they have wronged a certain MSH-er, which doesn't rub me the right way. I don't appreciate people taking advantage of other people, but that's neither here nor there.

I believe you're right about the 703 but I'm not sure and I wasn't going to say a model if I didn't know for sure.

So, if I have fit into Vapors before (XX and XIX), maybe it'd be best to stay away from the new line? I'm still going to try them on, then if they don't work, Mission XP's, then... what else would fit my foot?

Definitely try them on, the only change in fit is the larger toe cap and the large ankle padding packs. You might see some toe slippage or some negative space in the toe area but most seem to love the new toecap. Tring them on is always the best answer. :)

The new toecap is awesome. The XXX was a little snug, and the Vector 10 was too. The real issue is that I like to have my toes tight to the top of the box. That is why I wear a 9D skate with a 12D shoe size (a Nike 13D sneaker size). The XXXX gives me enough wide wiggle room in the toes while having the top of my toes against the top of the box. The skate is as close to a custom boot as I have ever worn.

What has become most apparent is my backward lateral movement with the XXXX. I am seriously considering playing defense this year for the first time in my playing career (24 years)...the skate has a lot to do with that.
