Of those three teams, I liked the columbus the best.

Why in the hell would you make the "T" into a hockey stick? One would think that the "L" would be a far more logical choice.

Because it would be near the end of the logo? Thats my only guess. Maybe they wanted it centered a bit more.

Also, they Lower case "T" looks like a stick (kind of)

Depends on the font, and those that have it are in the minority.

A few more posts on the Habs board say that was a preliminary design, and that the final is very much like the current jersey, just a little tighter with the NHL logo on the collar.

I think the whole simple thing is nice, hockey has lots of complicated equipment already the jerseys don't need to be very flashy.

They said the other day on RDS that the Habs design will not change, they might add some laces, but they don't expect the stripes and so on to change. They could be wrong though.

It's not going to change. The only Original 6 jersey change is Boston's.

People are all up in arms about the potential of the Orig 6 jerseys changing. It's the logo that I care about. Change the stripes if you want. Add something to the shoulder...laces would be cool...but leave the logo alone.

Status quo is also cool.
