V-Form

Whatever happened to the V-Form chassis? What were it's ups/downs? And does anyone happen to have a spare set for a size 10? I've always wanted to try em.

If it's the chassis with angled wheels, their marketing "claim" was that it improved your turning!!!

Know 2 people who have used it, one swears by it (has mounted it on other boots since), the other moved on pretty quickly.

There might sill be a pair for dirt cheap at the play it again around here. PM me if you're interested.

From what i had heard it was supposed to make it easier for guys that were used to ice.

From what I heard, it was a vanity product. Bought its way into the market and Sponsored the beach league, where it was the only frame allowed. Not even that kind of deep pockets could keep it going. Just what I heard.

somewhat remember this,v-form expanded into nexed, remember the pants?nexed came out with better boots but still had the frame set up but with 8degree-16degree-32degree angle wheel set up.they had hockey bags, pants(trickle)same guy who designed gear and sevyn, gloves and of course the skates,i guess they made the money couldnt compete with mission, tour and the rest is history, some of this is accurite as best of what i heard.

My first skates were V-Forms. I HATED them but unfortunately didn't know better until I got a pair of Missions and saw my skating ability leap forward within two or three pickup games. I did know a few good ice players that favored them a bit but for the most part, they were crap and much like myself the people that had them were slow and unbalanced.

For those who havent seen it ^. Yeah I do remember these, I remember hearing that they were terribly slow and if I remember right they were made of a crappy plastic... I'm betting they wouldnt take a hit from a puck to well...
